I had a lot of fun today! Me and Demotry crossed the ocean on the raft back to the start to defeat the first boss, Eikthyr. This let us craft ourselves pickaxes which we can use to get even better gear. I didn't get around to making the portal from the starting area to the community village so that will have to wait for tomorrow.
We have a few people on here now! RubenCress has started construction on a community building where we'll have smelters and such. CastleBerry also joined us for a bit but he didn't make it over to the community village yet. It's quite the trip on that raft.
Really looking forward to spending more time on this server!

Streaming live from the new Hive Gaming Community Valheim Server! The server has been live for a good few hours now and there's a few of us who has stared playing. @demotry, @incublus and @rubencress has already been on and established themselves and I know there's more people to come. Anyone is welcome to join us! Go read the announcement post for more information about how.
Game progress
We are in the early game but we've found a nice location for a shared village. This will most likely end up being a place where people have their own houses and estates and we'll probably set up a shared crafting area with upgraded workbenches and such for everyone to use.
The goal of this stream is to get the village going and perhaps take down the first boss, Eikthyr, so we can craft ourselves some pickaxes. That will make it easier to get ourselves some nice tools and start progressing into the Black Forest. We also need to set up a portal from the starting area to our village. It's quite a distance away from the starting area and you'll even have to take a raft over the ocean.

Valheim is only out for PC at the moment. I hope you're able to join us somewhere down the line. As long as the server is popular enough and we get the funding to be going for a while that won't be a problem. Which link did you have issues with?
I checked the link of the website where from the game can be downloaded. As I was doing it from mobile, it was issue as it was a pc game. But I wanna watch streaming. I saw in discord but by that time you were ofline...I'll check it today at 8 or 8:30 IST😀

Excellent game. For a multiplayer survival game, the graphics looks epic. Sailing the logs on the open ocean looked difficult where the wind was only working with the speed I guess.
You should build a ship with all those big trees around you, is it possible anyway?
And I've seen a strange thing.
Those white lines. Are those indicating winds?
Ships are unlocked a bit down the line. You can build a Karve and a Longship once you get some bronze and iron. That will make sailing a lot easier. Those lines are wind yeah. You have to take the wind into account when sailing. If you have headwind you hoist the sails and use only the oars. During tailwind it's full sails for the big speed.
I guess that's why the wind is being shown like this to make it more visible.

Surviving in the wild, building a ship, exploring the sea. Looks like a real piece of adventure. Can't wait to try this one. And you seem to have quite some knowledge about sailing. Like, in 37:50 when you hoist the sails according to the wind direction.
My Pc has a Core i7-9700 processor with gtx 630 built-in graphics and 8+8=16GB DDR4 2660mhz ram. Can I play it on my PC?
Yooo! This is fire bro, I loved the graphics and the aesthetic liked the AC vibes. I will be happy if I had a chance to play this but my laptop is outdated maybe when I got an upgrade but yeah thanks for sharing this and I'm looking into it in the near future. More power to you guys!
