Likewise I also started to try a new character that I think is pretty good. But as always, everything is more difficult than I thought...
➤ This character is called Walter and seems to me quite advantageous, as he has many useful features, and in my opinion the most attractive are that he has a pet that can serve as a chest, and in turn, also hides a little surprise. His other advantage is that his sanity never drops, only when he is attacked, that is, his only way to lose sanity is if he gets hurt, since the character even starts laughing when he sees ghosts or other entities that lower his sanity. Although, its great disadvantage is also its advantage, for example, if they attack me and I lose at least 100 of life, that would mean losing 150 of sanity, which practically leaves me almost dead...
➤ This picture I managed to take just in about 5 minutes that Jean managed to connect to my server before his internet explodes, my character has the quality of telling stories at the campfire, so I was telling him a nice story. In 10 days I managed to build a decent, walled base to protect myself, especially from the hounds, which at any moment were going to come and attack me, and when they did I saved myself by going to a bunch of frog ponds, and the frogs wiped out the hounds. After that I just spent another 10 more days looking for resources, preparing for the worst, looking for all possible supplies of food and resources to leave my house as little as possible, since winter was coming....
➤ And indeed it came, and luckily it didn't catch me off guard, I think the hardest thing was the fact that I had to get the gears to make the fridge, I had to face a mechanized horse and a giant robotic rhino, I had to escape from him a lot of times. In fact it was thanks to him that I managed to get the gears, since he made a stampede to attack me and ended up killing the robot horse.
➤ And yes, that beast you see there was the surprise I was telling you about my pet, and believe me, it's the best. By feeding my pet enough, it makes it grow and become this giant beast, and the best thing is that I can ride it and use it as a horse, and it is extremely fast, and I can attack on top of it with a slingshot. In fact it saved me from dying, as you can see I had my sanity super bad, if it wasn't thanks to its speed to have reached my home, I think I would have died, god, why is winter so difficult?
➤ Winter is excessively complicated, I need coats or hats that serve to shelter me from the cold, but unfortunately I only managed to create some sad bunny ear muffs, which were not enough at all. Another problem is food, although luckily I managed to store enough in the fridge, I had plenty of meat and carrots, so that was not my concern, but the cold, I could not spend more than 15 seconds detached from the fire without the cold almost killing me, in fact I had to burn trees to get heat. And on top of that my sanity was killing me and I needed to sleep. Oh, and also some fucking penguins showed up and ruined the walls of my house.
➤ Can you see that table with legs? Well, that thing was chasing me 5 whole nights into my fucking house, and while I was sleeping it was trying to go kill me, I don't know what would have become of me if I hadn't had the walls, although they were already damaged enough by the penguins. But between my home advancements I reinforced several walls and made more chests, I had a lot of resources inside each one, I also made another pot to make food faster and easier, and vary between recipes. And well, that second tent you can see was a little mistake, since I didn't know that my character couldn't sleep inside it.... And my beautiful pet looks so cute sleeping, hehe.
➤ Those balls that you see around my bonfire are thermal stones, they serve to store heat and to carry them in my inventory, so when I go out I don't die from the cold, which was something that had me completely tired, I could not go beyond the walls of my house, it's not long before the end of winter, so now I will have to carry the thermal stones of cold, because the summer will come and I will need them to cool me, so far, the winter has been just a little challenge, and because it has lasted little, then comes the worst, and have to face one of the many bosses of this game, when the winter ends, I'm scared. ..
➤ Oh, and as a curious fact I want to show you this little picture of how a wormhole took me to a fucking trap where I ended up dying and losing everything.
➤ Winter for now was an average between a great and a small challenge, maybe because I've already gone through it many times throughout I've played this game, but I think for anyone starting to play, it could be a martyrdom, especially for @therealflaws, I already want to see you going through winter, to see how prepared you are, I'll wait for you here in the cold.

➤ Bueno, últimamente no he podido seguir actualizando acerca de la serie de Don't Starve junto a @therealflaws, ya que ha tenido problemas con su conexión y no hemos podido jugar bien, por lo que al igual que él, ambos comenzamos en mundos en solitario, yo para perfeccionar mis técnicas y él para aprender, cosa bastante buena. Así mismo también comencé a probar un nuevo personaje que me parece bastante bueno. Pero como siempre, todo es más difícil de lo que pensaba...
➤ Este personaje se llama Walter y me parece bastante ventajoso, ya que tiene muchas características de provecho, y a mi parecer las más atractivas son que tiene una mascota que puede servir como cofre, y a su vez, también esconde una pequeña sorpresa. Su otra ventaja es que la cordura nunca le baja, solo cuando es atacado, es decir, su única forma de perder la cordura es si le hacen daño, ya que incluso el personaje comienza a reírse cuando ve a fantasmas u otras entidades que bajen la cordura. Aunque, su gran desventaja también es su ventaja, por ejemplo, si llegan a atacarme y llego a perder al menos 100 de vida, eso significaría perder 150 de cordura, lo que prácticamente me deja casi muerto...
➤ Esta foto la logré tomar apenas en unos 5 minutos que Jean logró conectarse a mi servidor antes de que su internet explote, mi personaje tiene la cualidad de contar historias en la hoguera, así que le contaba un lindo cuento. En 10 días logré construir una base decente, amurallada para protegerme, sobre todo de los sabuesos, que en cualquier momento iban a llegar a atacarme, y cuando lo hicieron me salvé yendo donde un montón de estanques de ranas, y las ranas acabaron con los sabuesos. Luego de eso solo estuve otros 10 días más buscando recursos, preparándome para lo peor, buscando todos los suministros posibles de comida y de recursos para salir de mi casa lo menos posible, ya que venía el invierno...
➤ Y efectivamente llegó, y por suerte no me agarró desprevenido, creo que lo más difícil fue el hecho de tener que conseguir los engranajes para fabricar la nevera, me tuve que enfrentar a un caballo mecanizado y a un rinoceronte robotico gigante, de él tuve que escapar un montón de veces. De hecho fue gracias a él que logré conseguir los engranajes, ya que haciendo una estampida para atacarme, terminó matando al caballo robot.
➤ Y sí, esa bestia que ven allí era las sorpresa que les decía de mi mascota, y creanme, es lo mejor. Al alimentar lo suficiente a mi mascota hace que crezca y se convierta en esa bestia gigante, y lo mejor es que puedo montarla y utilizarla como caballo, y es excesivamente rápida, aparte puedo atacar encima de ella con un tirachinas. De hecho me salvó de haber muerto, como ven tenía mi cordura súper mal, si no fuera gracias a su velocidad para haber llegado a mi hogar, creo que hubiera muerto, dios, ¿por qué el invierno es tan difícil?
➤ El invierno es excesivamente complicado, necesito abrigos o sombreros que sirvan para resguardarme del frío, pero lastimosamente solo logré crear unas tristes orejeras de conejo, que no eran para nada suficiente. Otro problema es la comida, aunque por suerte logré almacenar la suficiente en la nevera, tenía un montón de carne y de zanahorias, así que esa no era mi preocupación, si no el frío, no podía pasar más de 15 segundos despegado de la hoguera sin que el frío casi acabe conmigo, de hecho tenía que llegar a quemar árboles para poder obtener calor. Y encima la cordura estaba matándome y necesitaba dormir. Ah, y también aparecieron unos jodidos pinguinos que arruinaron los muros de mi casa.
➤ ¿Logran ver esa mesa con patas? Bueno, esa cosa estuvo persiguiéndome 5 noches enteras hasta mi jodida casa, y mientras dormía intentaba ir a matarme, no sé qué hubiera sido de mí si no hubiera tenido los muros, aunque ya estaban bastante dañados por los pinguinos. Pero entre los avances de mi hogar reforcé varios muros e hice más cofres, tenía muchos recursos dentro de cada uno, también hice otra olla para hacer comida más rápido y fácil, y variar entre las recetas. Y bueno, esa segunda tienda de campaña que se ve fue un pequeño error, ya que no sabía que mi personaje no podía dormir dentro de ella... Y mi hermosa mascota que linda se ve durmiendo, hehe.
➤ Esas pelotas que ven alrededor de mi hoguera son piedras térmicas, sirven para almacenar el calor y poder llevarlas dentro de mi inventario, para así cuando salga no morir del frío, que era algo que me tenía completamente cansado, no podía pasar de los muros de mi casa, ya falta poco para que termine el invierno, así que tendré que cargar ahora las piedras térmicas de frío, ya que vendrá el verano y las necesitaré para enfriarme, hasta ahora, el invierno ha sido solo un pequeño reto, y porque ha durado poco, luego viene lo peor, y tener que enfrentarme contra uno de los tantos jefes de este juego, cuando acabe el invierno, tengo miedo...
➤ Oh, y como dato curioso quiero mostrarles esta pequeña imagen de como un agujero de gusano me llevó a una jodida trampa donde terminé muriendo y perdiendo todo.
➤ El invierno por ahora fue una media entre un gran y un pequeño reto, tal vez porque ya he pasado por él muchas veces a lo largo de que he jugado este juego, pero creo que para cualquiera que comience a jugar, podría ser un martirio, especialmente para @therealflaws, ya te quiero ver pasando el invierno, para ver que tan preparado estás, te espero aquí en el frío.

Aún recuerdo el día en el que me contaste lo que te pasó con los 2 patas con un ojo cuando saliste ahí, no sé por qué no dejaste de jugar Don't Starve luego de eso JASKDJAWKJSD, pero de verdad que suerte de mierda. En mi último mapa morí a pesar de haber tenido a mi amigo peludo, me gustaría saber cómo montarlo:( veré si cambio de personaje y juego a Walter también, se ve bastante cheverosky

Y dios, CREEME QUE QUERÍA DEJAR DE JUGARLO, ese momento fue traumático, que suerte de mierda que me haya pasado eso, de hecho estuve hasta a punto de borrar el mundo. Yo quiero es encontrarme con un árbol budu como el que tú viste, necesito matarlo. Y para montar al beefalo creo que tienes que hacer una silla de montar D:

Marico y pa que tú veas, ese árbol me escoñetó la vida, pero fue satisfactorio verlo. No sé cómo no le pude tomar fotos, maldita sea haber sido un novato en ese momento, pero definitivamente fue arrechísimo haber matado a ese árbol con mi épica armadura de mármol.

¿En este juego uno se puede crear su propio personaje? ¿O se añaden mediante mods? Es que una vez vi a unas VTubers jugándolo y sus personajes estaban personalizados con sus skins.
Me imagino que sí hay mods y formas de crear personajes propios, pero como tal el juego tiene creo que más de 10 personajes seleccionables. Cada uno cuenta tanto con desventajas o con desventajas.
