La razón por la que este post es bastante especial, es debido a que este post es el número 100 de esta saga de post que he venido publicando desde hace ya bastante tiempo, y que seguro es la primera meta de muchos mas publicaciones que vendrán en el futuro, ha sido una de la saga de post que más he disfrutado hacer ya que es recordar la historia de los videojuegos de una manera más personal y sobre todo sacando a relucir esos bonitos recuerdos de los videojuegos clásicos, por lo que el juego que he seleccionado para hablar en esta ocasión y celebrar estos 100 post ha sido el JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Heritage for the Future.

Así es hace muchos años existió un videojuego referente a esta serie clásica de anime, y fue un juego que se lanzó en el año 1998, y que fue enfocado para las máquinas de arcade, pero que luego recibió versiones alternativas para las consolas de dreamcast y playstation 1, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Heritage for the Future es un juego que se basaba en la famosa serie de anime, y en donde podíamos encontrar también al protagonista de la serie llamado Jotaro, el juego se basaba en la temática de videojuego de peleas y era un juego en donde podíamos encontrar el rooster de luchadores que se podían ver en la serie animada, además el juego comenzó a verse en muchas máquinas de arcade, ya que fue aquí en donde el juego comenzó a brillar y a tomar fuerza y relevancia en el mundo de los videojuegos, ya que muchos juegos clásicos nacieron de las máquinas de arcade debido a la gran popularidad que estas tenían, ya que en esa época era bastante común visitar locales en donde se acostumbraba a pagar por utilizar máquinas de arcade y disfrutar de la experiencia de poder disfrutar un juego de este estilo utilizando los controles de una máquina arcade pero sobre todo tratando de jugar contra un amigo, ya que en este juego también era posible poder disfrutar de partidas entre 2 jugadores enfrentándose entre sí.

Otro de los datos curiosos de este videojuego es que fue desarrollado y distribuido por nada más y nada menos que Capcom, ya que el juego para su versión de máquina arcade funcionaba en un chip especial llamado “cps-3” el cuál era especial de capcom y era fabricado por la misma empresa, por lo que todos los juegos lanzados para este chip era videojuegos desarrollados por capcom y que solo eran compatibles con este chip de máquina de arcade, para así evitar la piratería de sus juegos en aquella época, ya que es bien sabido que por aquellos años muchas personas optaban por conseguir algún disquete o CD en donde una vez poniéndolo en su pc pudieran disfrutar de estos videojuegos sin pagar, por lo capcom tomó la precaución de lanzar este juego especialmente para este chip aunque posteriormente fue lanzado para consolas en donde de igual manera no era tan sencillo como a día de hoy poder emular la potencia de una consola en pc y no existía el nivel de programación de hoy en un sistema operativo para lograr la hazaña de emular una consola en pc, por lo que ciertamente JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Heritage for the Future fue un juego bastante querido por la comunidad por su apartado gráfico y jugabilidad, ya que además de ser un juego muy colorido contenía una excelente calidad de gráficos y sprites que hacían referencias a la serie original y que nos permitía poder disfrutar de combates totalmente asombrosos utilizando los diferentes personajes que se encontraban disponibles en este juego.

El juego a nivel de gameplay era bastante disfrutable, ya que debido a su estilo gráfico animado y de 2D no eran tan difícil que consolas como la dreamcast o playstation 1 pudieran moverlo sin problemas, por lo que el juego tenía un rendimiento más que aceptable en estas versiones y de igual forma en su versión de arcade, si hablamos de personajes jugables teníamos una variedad de personajes para poder escoger de la serie original en la que se basaba este juego, ya que podíamos encontrar obviamente a personajes como Jotaro, Dio, Jean Pierre, Rubber Soul, Alessi, Vanilla, Khan, Midler entre otros muchos personajes que pertenecían a la serie original, por que la acción y diversión estaba aseguarada en este juego, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Heritage for the Future envejeció realmente bien, ya que a día de hoy sigue siendo recordado con cariño por muchos jugadores, y es que su puntuación a nivel crítico y de calificación en diferentes foros de gaming y webs de críticas habla por si sola, ya que el juego mezclaba la acción de la serie animada junto con una jugabilidad estable y muy disfrutable a nivel de controles, ya que el juego se sentía muy cómodo a nivel de progreso y de aprendizaje de los controles para el jugador, también es un juego que se considera uno de los clásicos de los 98 en las máquinas de arcade, ya que al igual que franquicias como Street figther el juego llamaba mucho la atención por su banda sonora y la calidad de sus efectos de sonido, y fue un gran regalo por parte de capcom para los fans del anime.
