The Play-in phase comes to an End, we had some exciting moments and some other not-so-wonderful moments. We had some surprises from teams around the world but that moment ended an we are ready for the Main Stage.
10 Teams battled til the end trying to get a chance into the main event, the stage were the highest competition will take place, but in the end only 4 teams clasified.
The Competition
We had some surprises, the LATAM team R7 gave a surprise not being eliminated at first round and winning agaisnt Unicorns of Love and LGD the 4th seed of China, and was favorite of the Social Media, teams like Fnatic and G2 were rooting for the LATAM team and specially rooting for their jungler Josedeodo, and creating a lot of memes around him.
The other Big Surprise was the Team PSG Talon, a team playing without their main players becuase of travel problems in their country, they were playing with subtitute players. Even with that they were able to qualify at first position without going through the Best of 5 knouckout stage.
After some battle and some stomps we had the result of the group stage of the play-in and the first of the two groups were automatically qualified to the main event.
Then into the 2nd Round of the play-in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place of the groups had to play the knouckstage, Mad Lions, SuperMassive Esports, Rainbow7 and LGD Gaming were put into the Semifinals into Best of 5 Matches.
This a was a Stomp Series, people were expecting a more challengin' series from Rainbow7 but they were a very passive team instead of playing more agressive like the Play-In stage round. Despite the bad perfomance of Peanut the jungler of LGD in group stage they were able to classify anyway to the Finals and Peanut was awarded the MVP of the Series.
R7 and LGD Banned various champions across the series without many specific targeting, LGD vas trying to anulate the engage potential with Ornn, Alistar and Lillia Bans, while R7 was trying to keep Peanut away from some power picks like Graves or Nidalee.
Against all odds and not like the R7-LGD series SuperMassive defeated MAD Lions in an intense full 5 game series, with a 31 minutes average of game duration fast games were the name of the series even the last game was 29 Minutes long. SuperMassive targeted Humanoid and Carzzy, Midlaner and ADCarry from MAD Lions, banning many adc and mid champions of their pool.
Actually Carzzy played Senna 4 of 5 Games in the series and 3 of those 4 games were losses. This was a big blow to the Last Seed of EU, suposedly one the favorites to get out of Play-In, but a very successful year for a new LEC organization of "rookies".
The Play-In Finals and Clasification
With some expectation and hype the Finals were pretty Dull both Best of 5 Matches were stomps with 3-0 fashion, Unicorns of Love and Legacy Sports were waiting for their opponents because of being 2nd place in groups.
Not many exciting teams to say about both finals, pretty varied in champions and bans, although Ornn was banned in all 6 games of the finals. Despite SupperMassive winning against MAD Lions they were ran over by Unicorns of Love, classifying after years of trying and LGD got out in pretty dominant fashion after a pretty awful group stage.
The Groups of Main Stage
We have all the groups set and ready to go, remember the teams are put into the groups taking into the consideration the region of each team, they cannot 2 teams of the same region in the same group.
For now the so-called "group of death" it's the Group C.
This is a very exciting time, the hype is pretty real, the group stage starts at Satuday, October 3 am sure we'll have a good and entertaining competition.

La fase de los Play-In llega a su final, dejándonos momentos emocionantes y otros no-tan-maravillosos. Tuvimos sorpresas de equipos alrededor del mundo, pero ya llegó a su culminación y ahora está todo listo para el Evento Principal.
10 Equipos batallaron hasta el final para tratar de tener un puesto en el gran escenario, donde la mayor competición tomará lugar, pero al final solo 4 equipos pudieron clasificar.
La Competición
Tuvimos sorpresas, el equipo latinoaméricano Rainbow7 dio la sorpresa al no ser eliminado en contra de Unicorns of Love y LGD el 4to equipo de China, además que fue el favorito de las Redes Sociales, equipos como Fnatic y G2 estaban alentando y apoyando al equipo de LATAM, especialmente apoyando a su junglero Josedeodo, además creando un montón de memes sobre él.
La otra gran sorpresa fue el equipo PSG Talon, un equipo que jugó sin sus juagadores principales por problemas de movilidad desde su país, así que jugaron con substitutos; con todo y eso fueron capaces de clasificar en primera posición de los grupos sin tener que ir a la ronda eliminatoria.
Después de varias batallas y varias derrotas absolutas tuvimos el resultado de los grupos de play-in, el primero de cada grupo fue automáticamente clasificado para el evento principal.
Luego en la 2da ronda de los Play-in, el 2do, 3ro y 4to lugar de los grupos tenía que pasar a la ronda eliminatoria, Mad Lions, SuperMassive Esports, Rainbow7 y LGD Gaming fueron a las semifinales de partidos de Mejor de 5.
Ésta serie fue una aplanada, la gente esperaba más competición por parte de Rainbow7 pero jugaron muy pasivo en vez de jugar como lo venían haciendo en fase de grupos. A pesar de la mala participación de Peanut el junglero de LGD en la fase grupal pudieron clasificar igualmente y pudo redimirse llevándose el MVP de la serie.
r7 y LGD tuvieron una fase de bloqueo variada a lo largo de toda la serie, sin muchos bloqueos específicos a un jugador en concreto, LGD estaba tratando de anular el iniciamiento de R7 bloqueando campeones como Ornn, Alistar y Lilia, mientras que R7 estaba tratando de mantener alejado a Peanut de campeones poderosos como lo eran Graves o Nidalee.
Contra todo pronóstico, y no como la serie anterior, SuperMassive venció a MAD Lions en una serie completa de 5 partidos intensos, con una duración promedio de 31 minutos fueron partidas rápidas, inclusive el último partido duró solo 29 minutos. SuperMassive tuvo como objetivo de bloqueos a Humanoid y Carzzy, Midlaner y Carry de Mad Lions, bloqueando varios ADC y Mids.
De hecho Carzzy jugó Senna 4 partidas de 5 en la serie, y 3 de 4 fueron derritas para Mad Lions. Ésto fue un gran golpe para el último equipo clasificado de Europa, supuestamente de los favoritos para salir de la fase de Play-In, pero indiferentemente fue un año muy productivo para la nueva organización de la LEC.
Las Finales de Play-In y la Clasificación
Con algunas expectativas y emoción las finales fueron bastante grises, ambos Mejor de 5 fueron 3-0, Unicorns of Love y Legacy Esports esperaban a su oponente ya que terminaron 2do de grupos en la fase anterior.
No hay mucho que decir acerca de las finales, muchos campeones varios en bloqueos, aunque hay que destacar que Ornn fue baneado en todos los 6 juegos de las finales. A pesar de que SuperMassive venía ganando ante Mad Lions fueron aplastados por Unicorns of Love, clasificando después de muchos años de intentarlo, y LGD pudo salir de manera muy dominante a pesar de su no tan grata participación en grupos.
Los grupos del Evento Principal
Los grupos están listos para pelear, recuerda que los equipos están puestos automáticamente con el critero de que no puede haber 2 equipos de la misma región en un grupo.
Por ahora el llamado grupo de la muerte es el Grupo C.
Es un momento emocionante, los grupos empiezan el Sábado, 3 de Octubre estoy seguro que tendremos una buena y entretenida competición.

No he seguido muy bien todo lo de este mundial, pero si sé que Latam dio ahí un buen espectáculo, pero lamentablemente cayó. Pronto se vienen actualizaciones muy buenas en el LoL y cambiará todo el meta. Los objetos que vienen están rotísimos y será como empezar desde 0. Estoy emocionado por lo que se avecina.
Pues si, a mi me queda bien en horario relativamente, y tengo muchas ganas de seguirlo como se debe. Y también muy intrigado por los nuevos items y ver qué quedará roto de verdad. Gracias por leer :)
Mucha emoción, lástima que tenga clase a esa hora jajaja, pero si, yo espero que LATAM vaya mejorando poco a poco, importando y exportando talento.
