Siempre me ha gustado apreciar el acompañamiento musical dentro de un videojuego, siento que, junto al gameplay, son 2 de los aspectos más importantes que (para mí) definirán si ese juego es un 10 o un 9. Porque no sirve de nada que te den una escena de combate épica si no tiene una buena banda sonora que te motive y te haga sentir poderoso e invencible (Dovahkiin - Skyrim). No sirve de nada que te muestren la muerte de ese personaje al cual le agarraste cariño si no preparan la escena perfecta, con una buena banda sonora que logra explotar todos esos sentimientos que estás experimentando en ese momento (Muerte de la tía May – Marvel Spiderman PS4).
I have always liked to appreciate the musical accompaniment within a video game, I feel that, together with the gameplay, they are 2 of the most important aspects that (for me) will define whether that game is a 10 or a 9. Because it's no use being gave an epic combat scene if it doesn't have a good soundtrack that motivates you and makes you feel powerful and invincible (Dovahkiin - Skyrim). There's no point in being shown the death of that character you've fond of if they don't prepare the perfect scene, with a good soundtrack that manages to exploit all those feelings you're experiencing at the time (Aunt May's Death – Marvel Spiderman PS4).
Entonces ¿Por qué creo este Post? Fácil, porque quiero hablar de una de las mejores bandas sonoras "actuales" en un videojuego y como habrás leído en el título, me refiero nada más y nada menos que a Persona 5 Royal.
Then why do I create this Post? Easy, because I want to talk about one of the best "current" soundtracks in a video game and as you've read in the title, I mean nothing more and nothing less than Persona 5 Royal.
Desde el primer momento que empecé a jugar Persona 5 Royal sabía que había encontrado el JRPG que había estado buscando durante mucho tiempo, con esto no quiero decir que sea un juego perfecto, no lo es, de hecho, tiene muchos problemas. Sin embargo, si hay algo que elogiar sobre este trabajo es el gameplay tan exquisito que te da acompañado de una banda sonora excepcional. Ya sea que estés luchando contra un jefe o caminando un día lluvioso por las calles de Tokio, sea cual sea el momento, sentirás que la música es la "correcta".
From the first moment I started playing Persona 5 Royal I knew I had found the JRPG I had been looking for for a long time, with this I do not mean that it is a perfect game, it is not, in fact, it has many problems. However, if there is one thing to praise about this work it is the exquisite gameplay that it gives you accompanied by an exceptional soundtrack. Whether you're fighting a boss or walking a rainy day through the streets of Tokyo, whatever the time, you'll feel like the music is the "right one."
Persona 5 Royal fue (para mí) uno de los mejores juegos de esta generación, había pasado mucho tiempo desde que jugué un JRPG tan bueno, donde al principio sientes que ese combate por turnos puede complicarse si no piensas bien en tus próximos movimientos, es simplemente increíble y si añades a eso la banda sonora que constantemente te motiva mientras exploras los palacios, obtienes una obra maestra. Sientes que por alguna razón la música va de acuerdo a los personajes, se combina con ellos, así como la banda sonora personal de cada uno de los jefes, lo que te hace sentir que esa lucha es ''especial''.
Persona 5 Royal was (for me) one of the best games of this generation, it had been a long time since I played such a good JRPG, where at first you feel that that turn-based combat can be complicated if you don't think well about your next moves, it's just amazing and if you add to that the soundtrack that constantly motivates you while exploring the palaces , you get a masterpiece. You feel that for some reason the music goes according to the characters, combines with them, as well as the personal soundtrack of each of the bosses, which makes you feel that that fight is ''special''.
Lo mismo sucede cuando logras fortalecer esos "lazos" con tus compañeros y consigues que su ‘Persona’ evolucione, simplemente porque decidiste tomar las decisiones correctas y tomar esa amistad de la mejor manera, esa es la recompensa que te da el juego, te muestra cómo tus esfuerzos y buenas decisiones lograron despejar esas dudas y/u oscuridad de los corazones de tus amigos, de nuevo con una exquisita banda sonora que te hace sentir más fuerte ese momento.
The same thing happens when you manage to strengthen those "ties" with your teammates and you get their 'Persona' to evolve, simply because you decided to make the right decisions and make that friendship in the best way, that's the reward that the game gives you, it shows you how your efforts and good choices managed to clear those doubts and/or darkness from your friends' hearts, again with an exquisite soundtrack that makes you feel stronger that moment.
No sabría cómo catalogar este post, no creo que sea una review, lo veo más como una simple recomendación. Solo quería expresar lo que este juego y su maravillosa banda sonora me hicieron sentir, se que me faltan muchas otras cosas por mencionar, cosas que son igual de maravillosas o incluso mas, pero quería enfocarme únicamente al aspecto musical del juego. Quizás este post llegue alguien que esté pensando en jugarlo y tenga dudas al respecto, en caso de que eso suceda, espero haber aportado un granito de arena a despejar esas dudas, un saludo.
I wouldn't know how to catalog this post, I don't think it's a Review, I see it more as a simple recommendation. I just wanted to express what this game and its wonderful soundtrack made me feel, I know that I lack many other things to mention, things that are just as wonderful or even more, but I wanted to focus solely on the musical aspect of the game. Maybe this post will come someone who is thinking about playing it and has doubts about it, in case that happens, I hope I've contributed a grain of sand to clear those doubts, greetings.
