Some time ago I wanted to tell you about a game that was unique for my childhood, although nowadays I still find it an incredible game. This game was developed by Konami, many already know this famous company. The novelty or at least the new thing that this game would include was a light sensor in the same cartridge, in fact, the cartridge of this game is somewhat larger and is quite different from any other cartridge. This mechanic would be something innovative since the light sensor allowed us to charge our weapon with solar energy and thus be able to defeat the enemies. Without a charged weapon it was almost impossible to advance. If you still do not recognize what this game is with everything you have already read, then I will tell you the name, boktai the sun is in your hand.
Hace un tiempo quería hablarles acerca de un juego que para mi niñez fue único, aunque actualmente me sigue pareciendo un juego increíble. Este juego fue desarrollado por Konami, muchos ya conocen a esta famosa empresa. La novedad o al menos lo nuevo que este juego incluiría era un sensor de luz en el mismo cartucho, de hecho, el cartucho de este juego es algo más grande y es bastante diferente a cualquier otro cartucho. Esta mecánica sería algo innovador ya que el sensor de luz permitía cargar de energía solar nuestra arma y así poder derrotar a los enemigos. Sin el arma cargada era casi imposible avanzar. Si aún no reconoces cual es este juego con todo lo que ya has leído, entonces te diré el nombre, boktai the sun is in your hand.
I mentioned that in boktai, the help of the sun will be necessary, that's because the game is about vampires and zombies so to speak, we already know that vampires do not tolerate sunlight, although the ones in the Twilight saga do, what an unnecessary fact. In this game the story begins with the end of the world, the darkness dominates a world full of light and sun, making vampires become stronger and ending the cycle of life. The protagonist of this story will be our little Django, who is the bearer of a weapon that is powered by sunlight. Django will go to the city of the dead to avenge his father and save the sun.
Les mencioné que en boktai, será necesaria la ayuda del sol, eso es porque el juego va de vampiros y zombies por así decirlo, ya sabemos que los vampiros no toleran la luz del sol, aunque los de la saga de Twilight si lo soportan, vaya dato innecesario. En este juego la historia empieza con el fin del mundo, la oscuridad domina un mundo lleno de luz y sol, haciendo que los vampiros se hagan más fuertes y terminando con el ciclo de la vida. El protagonista de esta historia será nuestro pequeño Django, quien es portador de un arma que se potencia con la luz del sol. Django se dirigirá a la ciudad de los muertos para vengar a su padre y salvar al sol.
For my little age, this game was not easy at all, apart from the fact that I didn't understand it at the beginning because it was in English. Later I played it again in Spanish language and even though the translation was horrible, I enjoyed it a lot, then I finished it again in English to understand it better. This game may seem complicated at first but the truth is that it doesn't have that much difficulty level, once you adapt, the game ends up being simple or at least with a decent difficulty. The game is full of action and battles, although if you don't have the sunlight, it will be better to avoid battles as enemies are likely to defeat us. I don't want to go into too much detail, I want you to play this beautiful game, which in my opinion is one of the best GBA games. I would have loved for the game to be longer, I think I finished it in two days and I'm left wanting more.
Para mi pequeña edad, este juego no fue nada sencillo, aparte de que no lo entendía al principio por estar en inglés. Más tarde volví a jugarlo en el idioma español y a pesar de que la traducción era horrible, lo disfruté mucho, luego volví a terminarlo en inglés para entenderlo mejor. Este juego puede parecer complicado al principio pero la verdad es que no tiene tanto nivel de dificultad, una vez que te adaptas, el juego termina siendo sencillo o al menos con una dificultad decente. El juego está lleno de acción y batallas, aunque si no dispones de la luz del sol, será mejor evitar las batallas ya que es probable que los enemigos nos derroten. No quiero entrar mucho en detalle, quiero que juegues este precioso juego, que a mi parecer es unos de los mejores juegos de GBA. Me hubiera encantado que el juego fuera más largo, creo que lo termino en dos días y me quedo con ganas de más.
The game itself is beautiful. The colors of this game are unique, very vivid, it is a game that has nothing to envy in terms of graphics. boktai reminds me of another game, but I can't quite remember it. I could say that it reminds me a little bit of pokémon in graphics, but only a little bit, plus the music is very similar to pokémon. I'm not sure if this game can be played on emulator or something, I guess so, but it won't be the same experience as with the original cartridge. These days I've been pretty busy with my day to day life, I hope this post gets a lot of love, at least a couple of comments, I would really appreciate it. El juego en sí, es precioso. Los colores que este juego son únicos, muy vívidos, es un juego que no tiene nada que envidiar a nivel de gráficos. boktai me recuerda a otro juego, pero no lo termino por recordar. Podría decir que me recuerda un poco a pokémon en gráficos, pero solo un poco, además de que la música es muy parecida a la de pokémon. No estoy segura de si este juego pueda jugarse en emulador o algo así, supongo que si, pero no será la misma experiencia que con el cartucho original. Estos días he estado bastante atareada con mi día a día, espero que este post reciba mucho amor, al menos un par de comentarios, lo agradecería mucho. Sin más, un besito y chau chau! 😘
