@CopperPitch is coming in hot with not one but TWO deck breakdowns! Both lists have made their presence felt on the Gods Unchained Ranked Constructed ladder, and if you're looking for some tips and insights on how to run these lists optimally, look no further!
First up: the infamous infinite Portal Wrangler deck. Turn 1, obliterate every card in your deck except for 6. Turn 4, have a full board of 0 Mana 3/4s. By turn 6, your opponent is smashing the concede button. Need a step-by-step recipe?
The formula is simple:
Step 1. Use Lost in the Depths to obliterate all 1 Mana cards in your deck, of which there are 20+.
Step 2. Use Warp Engineers to reduce the cost of your Portal Wrangler to 0 mana.
Step 3. Use Clone to get a second 0 mana copy of Portal Wrangler.
Step 4. Play back to back to back 0 mana Wranglers until your board is full and your opponent cries. Step 5 (optional). Use 2x Form of Unity's to do 9 damage to any target, for good measure.
Next up we have Control Nature, a powerful archetype that has been given a boost recently with the buff to Enchanted Vines. If any proof is needed of this, just watch the video! 16 damage in a single turn for 6 mana, and you get a free Nature card to boot.
@CopperPitch recently used this deck to finish in the top 10 in the Gods Unchained weekend ranked competition with a 22-3 record. Dionysus, The Bountiful is one of the most powerful legendary cards from the Trial of the Gods set and is a super fun way to finish off a game!
