Happy day to the community, after a few long days of darkness finally came the light, it was a pretty strong flu, but with a little dedication and optimism with the respective drugs, I feel much better, with encouragement to continue writing and see your comments, today I bring you a small analysis of one of my favorite games.
The Nintendo Entertainment System was a really fabulous console, which had a catalog full of surprises, one of those games that I had the opportunity to play and that allowed me to have hours of fun (and also agony) is the one we will see below, called Adventure Island, released in 1986 by the developer Hudson Soft.

Adventure Island was released for multiple systems, among which we can locate the Game Boy, MSX, among others, but personally the version that I could experience was the NES, which is considered one of the most outstanding, thanks to its great technical section and excellent gameplay, which is comparable to other great successes of the console.
The objective is one of the simplest that we can find within the games of this style, simply we must rescue the girlfriend of the protagonist (Master Higgins), to achieve this we must go through the 8 levels, which contain 4 sub-worlds, each of them has a boss that must be eliminated to move to the next one.

The gameplay is simple, we can move in different directions thanks to the D-pad of our control, besides being able to jump and attack our enemies. At the beginning we will always attack with stone hammers, however, they can be changed by fireballs, as long as we find some hidden eggs that, when we break them, will give us this advantage, this weapon has the ability to break things that the previous one can not do.

In Adventure Island there is something that always haunts us and is one of the main things that we must take into account at all times, energy. We must always keep our energy at an optimal level (it is represented by some bars at the top), for this we always have to eat the food and drinks that we see in the tour, as they will appear constantly, if the energy reaches zero we will die immediately.

Sometimes we will have the opportunity to get certain "powers" that will give us a great advantage for a short time, one of them is a skateboard that allows us to withstand a blow and also give us a plus of speed, on the other hand, we have a fairy that makes us immune to everything, something very similar to the star in the Super Mario Bros. game.
Not everything we find in Adventure Island benefits us, we must be careful of something very harmful, which I always called "the rotten eggplant", as it can drain our energy quickly, the only way to remove this "curse" is to consume many fruits quickly until the effect is removed, otherwise we will die quickly.

In conclusion, Adventure Island is a video game that can be a bit complicated for those players who are not experienced, because it requires patience and a lot of practice to be able to pass it in an easy way. Apart from this, it is a very entertaining game, with a quite catchy music and a good graphic detail for the time, undoubtedly an outstanding classic of the 80s.

OMG, I loved this game, I remember that I played it in the family and it was one of my favorites, even recently I got to play it in an emulator for my phone, it is quite good and as you say, it is not as easy as it seems.
