The only 3D platformers that can compete with Mario from other consoles are probably Crash Bandicoot/Ratchet & Clank/Jak & Daxter on Playstation. I can't think of any similarly good platformers on Xbox, although that doesn't mean they don't exists.

I was hoping we would see Rare's titles shine on Xbox after the Microsoft buy but man, Nintendo has that quality control and fun insertion down pat. Rare's work before/after the buyout proves that quite well.

Rare was probably the premiere 3rd party Nintendo dev.

How the hell did you find this? I've never even heard of this game before.

It was not exactly a high profile release. I remember stores liquidating Dreamcast games and this was one that was under $5 on day one of those sales. I picked it up just because, I mean I am willing to gamble $5 on a few hours of entertainment like this (plus I am a big fan of 2.5D/3D games, lost art if you ask me).
