Hello Community of gardeners, wonderful week. My post is coming a few days late from gardening at home, we had bought many plants at the market, every weekend a new one practically. This weekend we bought some compost, placed some containers and set up the plants on Sunday.
First we prepared the soil, cleaned out any old roots, stones, some invasive plants, sifted it with a lot of patience and mixed it with new soil and added eggshells.
Then we cleaned all the plants, removed dry leaves, cleaned the stems (I had one with white lice but it is now cured, I will share the post), cleaned the dust from some of the leaves.

We did this activity as a family, the first one to run away was Sasha, when she didn't see any more soil to play with.

Then we moved some plants to bigger containers, and the new ones we placed them in the small containers, being very careful when we took them out of the bag not to damage their roots. We added some of the soil we had originally prepared to fill the pot. The last layer of soil was a mixture of dry coffee and soil.

Santiago wanted to water the plants every now and then, he still doesn't understand quantities so he was a little bit annoyed. The same as with the soil, for him a novelty.

After placing the plants in their new pots, Santiago proceeded to give them away without drowning them, in order to place them in the best place, with light or shade depending on the plant.

The big aloe has 4 daughters,

it stayed with one daughter and the other two were relocated, from the mother we have to take some of its stalks because they are already bent. The geranium was completely cleaned, all the dry leaves were removed, and the stems are still being cleaned, the chamomile and lavender do not have much additional work to do, the basil was placed in a large pot, it has already flowered. The purple basil has a mini pot, it is just starting, the mint is still as big as ever and the lemon balm was transplanted to a big pot, its stems have grown happily, they are separated because they do not like to be together.

One plant that we thought was dry, had a living part so we put it in water to see if it would grow roots to transplant it again, it was drowned by rain on vacation and we could not save it, but there is still hope.
We still have to transplant the lemon balm, lavender (another type), oreganon, Japanese jade, jade.

We also relocated the new succulents to get them in the sun, as they like it.

That was our weekend among the plants, Santiago learned several new things, we hope to do this once a month, including new routines for the plants and I will let you know how it goes.

So sweet that the kids get involved!

What categories of plants or flowers are in your garden??

Dear @kyleana, we need your help!

The Hivebuzz proposal already got important support from the community. However, it lost its funding a few days ago and only needs a few more HP to get funded again.

May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work this year?
You can do it on Peakd, ecency,

Hive.blog / https://wallet.hive.blog/proposals
or using HiveSigner.
