Sweet Violets Around the Corner

in HiveGardenlast year

I was delighted to discover these precious and delicate flowers in such great numbers in a very close area of my house. It just came as a surprise, with a smell of childhood. Sweet violets were something common to grow with when I was a child. However, I don't remember seeing so many such flowers together in the same area. Even though there were lots of them when I was a child, they were rather sporadic here and there.

So, I wanted to share with you this joyful moment. I don't know if you have sweet violets in your area; here, they usually appear at the beginning of spring. There are also white ones, but those are quite rare compared with violet ones. Amazing indeed, this nature of ours!

Quite a lot of the Sweet violet flowers are here. I think I have seen this flower in my area, but not as huge as these. I never knew the name too. They surely look nice. I still wonder how it came to be so large here, whether the farmer planted them on purpose or they were allowed to grow on their own.

Hi! These are people's gardens near their buildings which are usually taken care by City Halls. So, I assume the flowers were allowed to grow by their own. I am glad that you found them nice. Thank You for your great comment and for the threads thing you've mentioned. I will definitely take a look. Have a great end of the week!

Hey @maylenasland here's the thread where Charles mentions you, in case you want to reply to him!!!

Aww, yes...I forgot how that works...many thanks! 🙂

Impressive. The city halls do a great job here. The flowers no doubt contribute to a great environment. Thanks for wishing me well. You will find threads fun too
