The City has started looking vibrant. When I step out it's a beautiful sight with flowers all around the city. Muscat municipality year on year has been taking lot of effort in beautification of the city. Their focus is to create more and more green areas in the city which all the year round they keep working on with season flowers and plants. But during winter the scene is different. There are variety of flowers that are planted across the city and it looks so very colorful. Flowers are planted in Gardens, Public areas, main streets, service roads, parks at the traffic dividers and almost every where you look around. I just love these few months from November till March, it's so pleasant and so much vibrancy that fills the heart with joy.
In the last few days I have been having back to back guests visiting me from India and I have been busy taking them around, in those times I clicked some of the delightful pictures of the flower scenery around.
The flowers that are widely grown are Petunias, Bougainville, Marigolds, Hibiscus, Desert Rose, Adenium, Jasmine and some few others.
This one is still in the process and they are working on it. Once the flowers grow out and cover the area completely, it's going to look very beautiful.
These are grown on the side steps of the Sultan's Palace.
