Hello, all my friends #gardenjournal hopes you continue to be healthy and can contribute to cooling the earth by planting what you like.
I just arrived in front of the house, and I feel very excited to work on the front yard that has been idle. Imagine—you can harvest kale, spinach, or mustard greens yourself—no need to buy them at the market anymore! I immediately opened the seed packets one by one while imagining the page that would be green and productive. "This is this week's anti-chaos project," I thought as I prepared a shovel, a used pot, and a spirit like an impromptu farmer.
The first step I took
Clean the planting area of weeds and accumulated leaf litter. Taking care of the land is not as easy as in the video tutorial! Half a day was busy hoeing, mixing soil with compost, and complaining about how sore the hands were. But, once you see the loose soil, it feels satisfied. "These seeds must feel at home growing here," I muttered while tabulampot (planterbag) which will be a temporary home for mustard greens and lettuce.
Day two, it's time to plant! I divide the seeds according to their type, give them labels so they don't get beaten. Some are planted directly in the ground, some are put in pots first. Running water with a funny gembor feels like taking care of a plant. "Don't forget the sunlight, it will wither later," I remembered while checking the watering schedule in the morning. It's a little nervous, afraid that someone won't grow, but yaudah, the name is also learning!
A week later, my smile widened when I saw the small shoots start to appear. Kale has already come out the first leaf, mustard greens are also starting to have one as high as a little finger. It feels like having a magical mini garden that gives surprises every day. In addition to saving on shopping, this plant care activity is also a stress remedy. Plus, you can show off to your neighbors, "You know, it's your own plant, organic!" Who would have thought, from a sack of seeds and an empty yard, it would eventually become a source of daily happiness—and salads!
