That's a lot of green beans.
It's a great time of year, squirreling veggies away for the months ahead always feels rewarding.
We find that most things we store in mason jars are easier to extract from the ones with wide mouths.

Sort:  

Well, one year, I got a bit carried away and canned a bit more than 100 pints of green beans...I think it took us about 2 years or a bit more to eat them all. I like to can about 50-60 pints per year, that's one jar per week for a year.

What the heck do you feed them or is it just loving care?

I think I fi8nally got enough good compost in the garden to feed the soil. The worms do the rest...
