Yes, mowing the lawn can be very tiring, which is why a trimmer is great, but it's also heavy and you have to set it to exactly the right height. It would be great if you could just trim the grass with a hand mower.
I'll have a look at second-hand shops to see if they have something like that.

I think the mower has some self-propelling mechanism inside. As soon as you get it going, it's quite easy to go on.
And yes, I'm originally from Schleswig-Holstein, Plön bei Kiel. Lebe aber schon seit 12 Jahren in Ecuador. Das Schiller-Zitat in deinem Profil kannte ich noch nicht, bin aber vor kurzem über etwas ähnliches von Marcus Aurelius gestolpert - man solle sein Schicksal lieben, auch und gerade die Schwierigkeiten, da man daran seine Tugenden trainieren kann.
