Hello Draw A Day community and friends,
I was looking for some ideas and saw a short video on Instagram today. It was only a few seconds long there were two people hanging a big autumn wreath on a white building. I liked the colors. The wreath looked soft and alive, like fire and leaves mixed together. The building looked old and full of character.
I don’t know where that place is. I have never been there. But I wanted to keep the feeling of it, so I started to draw on my phone.
When I finished the sketch I felt good about it. It is strange how a short video, a few colors, and a few lines can feel like a memory I never had. Maybe that is the magic of drawing you can borrow a moment and make it your own.

Inspiration could be from anywhere and the lack of it should not be a hindrance to creating whatever it is that you love. This kind of art that you had been doing is really beautiful. No need for straight lines and shapes I just love how organic it feels. Well done Nini.
