March 10th, 2021Not too much is new in the way of delegations this week, most notably @rosmadirazali keeps upping his delegation a little every so often. Also @flipflopcrypto came onboard with a 10 HP delegation, not enough to be eligible for the VIP weekly raffle, but enough to be eligible for the daily 5% beneficiary raffles.
I also keep upping my delegation by 500 HP here and there in an attempt to match @davidke20's massive and generous contribution. I only need to maintain enough HP to reward my commenters generously, and otherwise I'm quite happy letting the lions share of my HP go towards supporting Southeast Asian content on Hive. Enough chit-chat, let's see who won this week's raffle.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @kidsisters, & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are four separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 65,522, and total delegated HP is 62,230 HP (45,247 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
The more you delegate, the greater your chances are to win, and this weekly raffle is just a fun way to reward supporters of Southeast Asian content on Hive.
