Hauling and carrying coconuts really needs time because we only used small sacks and it cannot filled lots of coconuts but me and my Mother will do our best to gathered it near in our house. After few hours, we completely hauled coconuts and it will be good to placed it near in our house so we can monitored it specially every evening.
After that, I started to pell those coconut husks using a sharp metal so it will easily removed the husks. I learned this when my Father Teach me and it is really dangerous because any false move, it can create injury or wounds. My Mother cannot do this so I decided to do it very slowly but continuously. Those husking coconuts are placed in the areas where we can also dried it directly under the sun and it takes a lot of time doing it. The next thing I did after we kept husking it was to count it again before we begin cracking those coconuts.
Gladly after lots of hours, we dried hundreds of pieces and it was very lucky because there was an intense heat from the sun. It will expected to dry it on time and we can easily removed those meat before putting in the sack and sell it. I really totally imagined how the intense heat really hot because the coconut meat are turned into brown color and few of it are started to removed and pulled out in the coconut shells. This afternoon, we will started to removed and separate those coconut meat from it shells and dried it again until it will fully and normally cook.
My Grandma's house is still intact and there are only few parts that has been broken and destroyed. It needs renovations and we really don't want to destroyed or abandoned the house because this will be very important to us specially when we visited here doing harvesting. In order for us to have a place to take a rest we tied a swing inside of the house.
My Grandma's house was not cleaned many months already and while I kept myself busy, My Mother also cleaned the entire place creating a smokes out of dry leaves. She also arranged those few ornamental plants at the lawn so the house will become attractive in view. We only sometimes visited here or if we do harvesting of coconuts or gathering lots of dry palms use for firewoods.
While we rest for a minute, I decided to explored the areas if I can find lots of coconuts that has already sprouts on it. Gladly, I found two pieces and I checked those young coconut plants we planted last month and as I checked it it grows very healthy and continuously stabled with no harmful insects lives on it. I'd chooses those sprouts that contains big coconuts because it is perfect to plant it.
If we do harvesting, lots of dry palms will be expected and as for that we also gathered it and put in one place so we can carried it easily bring back to our house. This will be good for everyday cooking uses. I cut it in shorter length so I can put it in the sack and we can bring lots of it back home. Now-a-days, stoves are very expensive that is why using firewoods is much better.
This is the vacant place that needs to be planted so it can developed into an agricultural land. Our plan for here is to plant lots of coconuts and do gardening like crops planting. But before doing it, cleaning activities needs to be done bit we cannot face it today due to a busy harvesting Activities we did here.
It was very tired but enjoyable, this is one of our primary source of income and doing it is very important.

I once harvested a coconut that fell next to me and nearly hit me in the head. That was a scary day. I have a great appreciation for how difficult it is to get one of them open though!
If I was directly under the sun it will have expected to have lots of sweat. But honestly I also have hard time to opened it and I am really not an expert by husking.
That's a lot of hardwork. I also did that before but the funny thing was, I ate the dried coconuts and it's yummy. I can still remember it's warmness right after dried under the sun and we ate it.
