Such a wonderful day I have started the month of April as the Ministers Meeting or the gathering of Pastors was held in our Church, and at the same time it is a advance Birthday Celebration of my cousin and at the same time my Senior Pastor.
We have prepared a lot for this event a few weeks ago, and thank God for He guided and helped us to make the event successful, with the help of our brethren in the Lord.
But before I get started to what really had happen on that day, I would like to greet first and give thanks to all my supporters. From the Community Admins, my co-Hivers and most especially to all the curators who just keep on dropping by here in my blog posts
Our Ministers Meeting is a monthly event we have Pastors that happens every first Saturday of each month. Last month it was held at the Beach Resort near Iligan City, and at this month it was held here in our Church and we are the host.
We have planned and helped each other to make this event possible with the helped and guidance of God. We also thank God for we have Church Members who were very supportive with regards to financial aspects.
This happened last Saturday and at around 9:00 in the morning the meeting will start and so I woke up very early so I can prepare my self early and can go immediately to our Church.
I then went to our Church which around 20 minutes away from my house so I need to go early before other Pastors came to our Church. As I finally arrived, I was amazed for their were already Pastors present very early.
A few minutes after my cousin and other Pastors just got arrived and it is now time for our meeting to get started. I was the one
It was now then started with an opening prayer led by my cousin and then followed by the praise and worship. I am now assigned to led the praise and worship although supposed to be I am not but unfortunately our assigned Worship Leader is not around but still thankful to God for everything went well.
Since the Ministers Meeting is scheduled here in our Church, all the part of the program before the meeting proper will be assigned to us. That is why just after the praise and worship in which I was the one assigned to led, the Word of God was then followed, and it was my cousin who is also my Senior Pastor tasked to share the Word of God.
Here he shared a Word of God that encourages everyone of us who is present. We all know that being a servant or a Pastor is not that easy for we will be able to encounter many challenges in life but as what my Pastor said, all of it is part of our service in the Lord. We should not be trouble because God will never leave us nor forsake us.
The Word of God indeed very powerful as it gives us courage to do better for the Lord. After we have heard the Word of God, it now time for our meeting proper.
Our Section's Presbyter now facilitate the meeting and since mostly of us Pastors are present, the meeting is quorum and it now called to order. We have then give our obligations to our Sections with and other important things we needed to give.
Our Secretary was now then shared the previous minutes of meeting so we will be able to know our agenda last meeting before we go for today's meeting. Some of the Pastors have some questions so we need to discuss all of those first before we proceed and thankfully all has been resolved.
Now that the minutes of the previous meeting was now resolved, it is now time for the new minutes of meeting and we have lots of agendas to discuss from Department Reports, Pioneering Reports, Financial Report and a lot more.
By lunch time we have break for a while so we can celebrate in advance my cousin's birthday before we proceed to the final part of our meeting in the afternoon. We have then offered a prayer for him facilitated by our Section's Presbyter and then we sang a Birthday song for him.
We have then take our lunch and we thank God to everyone who helped in preparing and distribution of foods most especially to the WM Department and everyone.
In the afternoon, we have only few discussion to discuss most especially about our upcoming Youth Camp and we do believe that God will helped us for this special and big event.
The meeting was now then ended around 2:00 in the afternoon and the successful of this event will not happen without the help and guidance of God and also to all our Church members who helped physically and most especially in financial aspects.
