The Rice Fields and a Fruit Market in Vietnam!
Hello Freinds,
When I am Driving around in Vietnam, out side the city, you will see rice fields intermixed with small towns.
The Vietnamese rice fields are a true testament to the country's culture and traditions. The unique way of farming has been passed down for generations, with farmers cultivating the land in an intricate and artistic fashion. Every rice field is like a work of art, and the view of lush green paddies stretching as far as the eye can see is truly breathtaking. Not only is it visually stunning, but the rice fields are vital to the country's economy, as they provide food and income for many of the people living in Vietnam. It's amazing to think that such a simple and ancient farming practice can provide so much for so many people. The Vietnamese rice fields are an incredible tradition that is truly an awesome sight to behold.
So, as I do.. I took some photos of the fields as I passed by them and have some thoughts...
The people who work in the Vietnamese rice fields must be some of the hardiest people on earth. After all, they work tirelessly under the blazing sun, harvesting one of the most important crops in their culture. For them, the rice fields are a source of livelihood, and they take great pride in their work. Sure, the photos here its an over cast day, but on a sunnyday, outside, no cover.. OMG... it would be a hard job I think.
In the lush middle of the Vietnamese rice fields, nestled amongst the tall grass and tranquil waters, stands a peculiar building. Constructed from the finest materials and painted in a warm yellow hue, it is a sight to behold. This building is known as "The Happy Place" and has become a source of joy and solace for those who venture into its open doors. Inside lies a vast array of curiosities, each carefully selected to bring a smile to the face of all who enter. Hahah, Jk, I did not go in, jus thought it was a funny name.. but also, that around it, was poor homes, but then, a lush 5 story place that is happy? Strange.. I sorta like it too.
But for real, Rice fields and fancy place... perhaps they serve the water OX as guests?
The Vietnamese Homes were almost like an extension of the fields, seamlessly integrated into the natural terrain. In some areas, even the homes were built in the water, seeming to float atop the surface. You cant see it that well here, but this home is growing from the pond here.
A slightly better angle on it... however I have to wounder if inside is dry thought...
My otting was to a fruit market and well... The vibrant colors of the Vietnamese fruit market are almost too beautiful to be true. From the lush green of the kumquats to the deep red of the lychees, the market offers an explosion of colors that could dazzle even the most seasoned of travelers. A true feast for the senses, the smells of juicy guavas and sweet mangoes will waft through the air, while the sound of vendors hawking their goods will provide a lively backdrop.
Out side the stalls however, the miscellaneous knick-knacks that tell a story of the culture and the people. There's something about the charm of these off-the-beaten-path finds that I just can't resist.
I find the collections of things outside markets to be endlessly fascinating. The variety of items that one can find are often surprising; and while I do not want to intrude too much, I do like to take photos of them!
Moral of the story... Look at the fruit.. it was worth the drive on a rainy day 100%
