I am excited to re-introduce myself to Hive with my new solo account and say bye to my shared account with my little sister. My dad helped me make this new account and also one for my sister. We each now have our own accounts, so I’d like to introduce myself again to you Hivers and say bye-bye to the @kidsisters account. My sister will soon make a re-introduction with her new @sakana account.
My name is Om Chan Sakada but most people on Hive calls me Srey-Yuu even my family. I was born on July 12th 2009. I am now 13 years old and I have a little sister named Sakana (@sakana). My mom’s name is Sreypov (@sreypov) and my dad’s name is Justin (@justinparke).
The reason why I have my own account now is that because I want to have my own account and my dad made me too. I also want to be sure about what is mine and what is my sister's. Also, I think I'm old enough to have my own account too. I will post about stuff that I like, stuff that I do, and some fun too.
I was born in Battambang, Cambodia. I am now living in Pursat, Cambodia but I used to live in Surinam. I just arrived in Cambodia about 1 year ago. I study in 6th grade but I suppose to be in 7th or 8th grade. It is because of Covid-19 and I was in another country or three years. When I left Cambodia I was in 4th grade. I have a lot to catch up with school and life.
My Favorite Things
- My favorite colors are purple and black.
- My favorite animal is rabbit.
- My favorite food is pasta.
- My favorite TV Show is Tales Of Arcadia.
- My favorite kinds of movies are anime, adventure, action, fantasy, and fiction.
I like so much more stuff but it is too much to show. I think you might get bored just seeing my favorite stuff.
I like to listen to music a lot and podcasts too. It helps me think and be happy. I like podcasts because I get to listen to stories like Six Minutes and An Explainable Disappearing Of Mars Petal. When I work, I don’t really listen to podcasts because I can get distracted sometimes.
I’m a kid curator of ASEAN Hive Community along with my dad (@justinparke) and my mom (@sreypov). I always post in ASEAN Hive because I’m from SE Asia and it is easy to post in there. Also because it is my dad’s community. I know a lot of great posts in there but there also a lot of great posts on other communities.
I love to draw because it is one of my favorite hobbies besides reading. I know how to draw on paper and in Sketchbook. Here are some of my drawings both on paper and in sketchbook.
I don’t know what I want to be in the future yet but I know I want to do something with music, art, or anything creative. I used to want to be a chef but I kept burning the garlic every time I cooked. Then I wanted to be an artist but I changed my mind. Now I don’t know what I want to be but I want to know how to play instruments. I used to learn how to play ukulele with one of my dad’s students. I want to learn how to play a guitar the most.
I was born in Cambodia with a Cambodian mom and a Cambodian dad. My mom already broke up with my Cambodian dad. After they broke up for 2 or 3 years, my mom met my dad. We met my dad at Battambang where I was born and then my mom, my sister, and I moved to Kampot where my dad was living. Then they got to know each other. Even me and my sister got to know him and we became close. There is more to the story but that’s it for today and I will post more about my life and stuff I like in the future.
