CBD - Thyme - Bay leaves Oxymel!!

I am coming late to the party, I saw many many many good posts, I got shy for a few days seeing how much effort is put into, I struggled making it look pretty because I am a man, and I know it sounds cliché, but I hate doing things when you need to make it pretty.

I normally shove things in other things, and bam! Done.

That's why Oxymel is right down my alley.

I have no idea what I am doing, so I ask my dear queen @lionmom what's the first step, and it's all about sterilization, I am sure none of you thought of that in your post! Ah! Ed Privat is innovating...

While I am speaking "3rd person mode", it's important to remind Ed not to touch the jar while it's boiling.

Here is another innovation, I call it "steaming jar in crystal lagoon"

Hnet-image.gif

Now I am supposed to tell you that it's CBD, because by law it's prohibited to have anything but CBD in France, it's important to add to the story, in case one day, I am on the run from the Police and they're trying to build up a case on me "a la Pablo", they might go through the blockchain archives where everything sustains, and find an article about me growing some prohibited substance, wooohee, they have then a case for extradition.

By then hopefully , I'll be there:

Anyway, back to our "CBD", I had a lot of trims from last year, and didn't know what to do with it.
You can really see it, but some of the leaves are a bid mouldy, so I preferred not to add them in the jar.
Anyway I thought it would be too strong (in CBD of course 😁),

Look at me massaging this trims, this post is about to get a little bit like food porn, I am gonna pour things, touch other things, get that slow motion ready, put a sweat pant on, and let's go!

So instead of using the trims, I went with the stems, that I always keep to chew, and to use at toothpick. There's also a method to my madness, I don't want something too potent, I might even just micro-dose it.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, we wanted to add thyme and bay leaves, because why not! Check the benefits, you'll understand why:

  • Boosts Immunity
  • Helps with sugar levels
  • Helps with reducing anxiety
  • Vitamin C
  • Potassium
  • Manganese

Enough talking, how about that weed/food porn you were talking about Ed?

"Saxophone music starts playing..."

"Oh yeaaaaaaah, put that bud in"

Is the honey ready? You tell me...

The beat starts: "Boom boom chack, boom boom chack"

Now I know what you think, "What the fuck is going on right here?" and I understand your concern, I am myself asking the same thing, but hear me, did you know that apple cider vinegar dripping can be sexy?
Check this out:

Ok, maybe it ain't that sexy. It might even look like piss come to think of it 😔...Golden Shower time!

So, what we're going to do, is see how strong it is, and will add up some of the best trim if necessary (the least damaged leaves), I have a feeling though that this will help you sleep, and it might even get you a little high 🤗

Jeez Louise 🤣 that's a lot of HP

Yes it is @edprivat, well done 😊🌹👍

THanks brother!

Thank you for this brilliant article, @edprivat and @lionmom ! :-D What glorious inventiveness and beautiful imagery - I feel like a right lazy arse with my phone snapshots and quick brew of oxymel - but posts like these enthuse me to make more and share more... big gratitude!
Clare

Hahaha I love your posts what are you talking about? And plus I am being such an anus while we're doing the pics, it takes some of the fun away a bit, it's a rollercoaster of emotions 😁 I just got lucky it turned out well this time around, big gratitude for the gratitude 🙃

Before long you'll be addicted to oxy!! This is brillliant - I don't know why I never thought of a 'cbd' oxymel - stands to reason!!! Genius. You MUST do an update with the effects of it in six weeks time!!! I'm glad you enjoyed the process - this was definitely the most entertaining post I've read about making an oxymel yet. I think now you've got the hang, you'll be making more!!!! Have to say, I don't bother sterilising the jars beyond a wash and a swish of kettle water, as ACV/honey are pretty potent in scaring off bacteria anyway. But at least you learnt not to touch hot jars, right? Fantastic, fantastic entry - so glad you joined in!!!

Helooo! Omg I didn't even think anyone would like this one, right? One question though, do I have to open the jar everyday? I am sure it gets gassy?

I have a confession to make, I don't care about sterilization neither, it just looks good; it does make fog, which is cinematographic enough 😁 No touchy the jar though...

I have another question for you, I've been told that you do yoga, is it true? How good is your stuff and are you interested we chat on discord about a cross tribe challenge?

Just a side note. The Bouton D'Or will be overly processed apple cider vinaigre. I used to buy mine at any organic store. It must have la mère or the mother floating on the bottom which is the cloudy substance. This is where all the nutrients and beneficial enzymes are located. You just shake it up before using to get those nutrients in whatever you're using it for. Great as a hair rinse after solid shampooing as it seels the hair follicules😉 You can also make a winter syrup by pouring sugar on onions in a jar🙏

I take your side note; and flip it in my "main note" folder. You're right, the initial plan was to make some vinegar with apple but it was becoming such a mission, so we gave up on thursday and said, let's get the right ingredients the next day and tadaa!

Oh you know some stuffs, thanks for sharing your knowledge, especially for the shampoo as I am losing hair right now, good one.

You mean caramelised onions? You cook them prior?

No, you pour sugar over uncooked, cut up onions, then put the cover on and let it macerate. It will produce a juice that you can pour into a spoon and take. When there's no more juice you toss it and redo another.
Here are some of my favorite solid shampoos. I've followed the Slow Cosmétique movement since 2015. My faves are The Green Emporium, Druydes, and Pachamamai. The Notox one is good for detoxifying your hair/scalp. The Sweety is for hydration. Druydes for dry hair has guimauve which is wonderful for hydration as well as the kiddies shampoos. And they last a long time. Kudos for this post👏👏 Never knew that pouring apple cider vinaigre could be so sexy😂😂 Pouring honey is even sexier😝🍯

It's not too pricey, I've checked even the basic soap isn't bad.

Hahaha thanks on the compliment, it was all fun and good!

My favorite cold pressed soaps are made by Louis Émoi. They are awesome as well as reasonably priced😃

I think making things hilarious counts as making things pretty.

Such a resourceful man!!! Love this idea.

Resourceful is a really unused adjective, I wish the resource was always that full 😃

Thanks for the pretty comment 😌

The one benefit of not being able to sleep tonight was that I got to read this post at 3am. So interesting. Hilarious as usual as well. I especially enjoyed this part

I am gonna pour things, touch other things, get that slow motion ready, put a sweat pant on, and let's go!

Lmao. Even just the way you fondle the leaves cracked me up. I pictured you being like "honey, film me touching these leaves and shit" then quietly to self "this is going to look so good in my post." And it does hahaha. I always have post envy when I read your articles and think "how do I make mine look as cool as that?" 🤔
I'm sure everyone thinks that at some point though.

Man I need some of your creation so I can sleep!

I am not going to ask what you were doing awake at 3am, a man is allowed some privacy at that time 😁 and I am always awake at that time on saturday because it's fight night.

Of course you're into leaves fondling, I am not surprised, I saw the way you take photos of trees, you tree huggers!
The initial idea was to "make it rain" with the leaves, but it didn't look as good, it's all about picking up the best shots afterwards, smelling your own farts, etc...

Do you know that I asked myself the same thing when I see your post? Not the fart smelling part hah, but what you said about "how do I make mine look as cool"...

I started taking more times editing the pics after checking your posts! You've inspired me! Hope sleep came eventually!

When I drink alcohol I sleep like shit generally and I had a few drinks last night. I eventually slept though.

it's all about picking up the best shots afterwards

Yeah I hear you. You have to experiment a little. You should see my photos after I've had a few drinks. Snapping away, I'm like "this is magic right here. this is dope!" Then the next day I wake up and look at my gallery and I'm like "why the fuck were all my photos taken at a 45° angle!?! They're all half sideways! I can't use any of these." Me thinking that I'm being super creative or something 🙄Here is what I'm talking about. one was taken on beer #1 and the other and hour and a half later on beer #3. Try to guess which is which 🙃... lol

20211128_213236.jpg

Anyway, keep doing what you're doing in your posts. Your gif game is top notch. I need to step up my game in that department.

Hahaha that's hilarious
Truth is, even your blurry pics are better than most "blurry" pics.

I agree though, I always try to finish my post before drinking, otherwise it's over. Except posts about beers of course, which always make it more difficult to finish.

OK I am about to go check if there's anything new on your side, even blurry haha.

Dude I had a lot of fun reading your post.
You did a great job with this preparation. Cheers!

THanks Mike I am happy you had fun! CHeers buddy!

I'm just here with popcorn reading the comments.....Oh my WORD....when I need a pick up I just need to peruse one of your posts. Very pretty ummm CBD @edprivat. And if anyone asks, we never met

Hahahaha hilarious. The entire comment is approved; to my liking 🤣

Yes, CBD... I wasn't there neither...😙

Let's keep within legal gardening and fermented dressings. I think I'll just pull out these weeds while I nibble on that popcorn
