In the celebration of Makmeugang Day tradition, one day before entering the month of Ramadan some time ago, for the reason of running the COVID-19 protocol, the Lhokseumawe City Government forbade the meat seller from offering his wares on the market. However, these rules did not dampen the enthusiasm of the meat sellers because they still held an impromptu meat market in front of their own homes. So people who want to buy meat for Makmeugang tradition can still get it. I took these pictures in the village of South Hagu, a suburb of Lhokseumawe City.
