Greetings to everyone here in the community! Today I come to share with you the following pictures that were taken yesterday during a big rain storm that was present in much of my country, Venezuela. These specifically belong to the community where I live, in the municipality of Naguanagua.
I am used to get up and go to my window to enjoy the view of the place where I live. From there I can see the Cerro el Café and admire some birds. Yesterday morning was a bit cloudy. You can see it in the first images I leave. We are still going through rainy seasons so we know that we must anticipate them because in my town there are problems with sewers and drainage. So heavy rains are not always good news for us.

El día de hoy vengo a compartir con ustedes las siguientes fotografías que fueron tomadas el día de ayer durante una gran tormenta de lluvia que estuvo presente en gran parte de mi país, Venezuela. Estás en específico pertenecen a la comunidad donde resido, en el municipio Naguanagua.
Estoy acostumbrada a levantarme y acercarme a mi ventana para disfrutar de la vista del lugar donde vivo. Desde allí puedo ver el Cerro el Café y admirar algunas aves. La mañana de ayer se presentó un tanto nublada. Lo pueden observar en las primeras imágenes que dejo. Estamos todavía atravesando épocas de lluvia por lo que sabemos que debemos anticiparnos a ellas pues en mi municipio existen problemas con las alcantarillas y el drenaje. Por lo que las fuertes lluvias no siempre son buenas noticias para nosotros.
At half past two in the afternoon it started to rain heavily. In a way it hadn't for a long time; lightning, thunder and lightning. I am on a fourth floor but I was worried about my downstairs neighbors (Ground Floor) as water usually gets in at that level. I also called my mother to find out about her and my aunt and uncle. As I expected, my aunt and uncle's house was flooded. As well as other people were left in the same state. The rain stopped at about 5:00 in the afternoon.
These pictures are a photographic record of how it went from tranquility to chaos. Although rain can be a blessing for others it is often a misfortune. I would have liked to be in the place where you can see the overflowing water channels in order to have a better idea of what happened. But these pictures tell enough by themselves. A las dos y media de la tarde comenzó a llover fuertemente. De una forma que hacía mucho tiempo no lo hacía; relámpagos, chubascos y centellas. Yo estoy en un cuarto piso pero estaba preocupada por mis vecinos de abajo (Planta Baja) pues a ese nivel se suele meter el agua. También llame a mi madre para saber sobre ella y mis tíos. Y como tenía previsto, a mis tíos se les inundó su casa. Así como otras personas quedaron en el mismo estado. La lluvia cesó a las 5 de la tarde aproximadamente.
Estás fotografías son un registro fotográfico de como se pasó de la tranquilidad al caos. Aunque la lluvia puede ser una bendición para otros suele ser una desgracia. Me fuese gustado estar en el lugar donde se observa de mejor manera los canales de agua desbordados para que se tenga una mejor noción sobre lo sucedido.
