Different kind of Graffitis
Ehrenfeld is not exactly around the corner for me - but in a very funny way it is worth a visit every now and then. The streets and signs are sometimes pasted or sprayed with slogans or pictures. However, these do not disturb, also one does not have the feeling that it is part of vandalism, but the individual people are somehow concerned. In my imagination, one day you see that someone has stuck an interesting sticker on a wall, and you yourself think to yourself, "Hey, here's what comes to mind about that." - and that's how, over time, the very unique charm of that neighborhood emerges. In any case, I always find it interesting how this neighborhood somehow keeps changing. Ehrenfeld ist für mich nicht gerade um die Ecke - aber auf eine ganz komische Art und Weise lohnt sich ein Besuch immer mal wieder. Die Straßen und Schilder werden teilweise mit Sprüchen oder Bildern beklebt oder besprüht. Dabei stören diese aber nicht, auch hat man nicht das Gefühl, dass es Teil von Vandalismus sei, sondern sich die einzelnen Leute irgendwie Gedanken machen. In meiner Vorstellung sieht man eines Tages, dass jemand an eine Wand einen interessanten Sticker geklebt hat, und man selber denkt sich: "Hey, dazu fällt mir folgendes ein." - und so entsteht mit der Zeit der ganz eigene Charm dieses Viertels. Ich finds auf jeden Fall immer wieder interessant, wie sich dieses Viertel doch irgendwie immer wieder verändert.
When I've got some peace back into my everyday life, I'd love to just go somewhere again, soak up the flair for a few hours and take a few photos. This year, I can imagine that this will no longer be. But hopefully next year. Until then, photography will have to wait for me and I for it.
Wenn bei mir wieder etwas Ruhe in den Alltag eingetreten ist, würde ich gerne wieder einfach irgendwo hinfahren, den Flair für ein paar Stunden aufsaugen und ein paar Fotos machen. Dieses Jahr kann ich mir vorstellen, dass das nichts mehr wird. Aber hoffentlich nächstes Jahr. Bis dahin muss die Fotografie auf mich warten und ich auf sie.
