Good day everyone. It's Monday and here again another pre-covid-19 entry post photo's from me. It's just like a dream that 2019 just passed us by in a blink of an eye and this makes me realized how I have taken for granted the freedom I have before the pandemic. This photos are taken on December 2019. I just strolled around my city snapping picture of what I see.
I think this is a test shoot of my lens on a very low aperture number just to see what the effects was. Water and black coffee.
We used to have a small streets vendor selling foods and drinks. This place used to be bustling with people buying food from all this street stalls especially during Ramadhan fasting. Now, its very quiet and at some point this year have been on lockdown due to Covid-19 cases rising in this area.
This place also used to be bustling with people and tourist. Last year, there's a lot of buskers starting to perform in this public spaces.
Lot's of Chinese and Korean tourist once roaming around the city but since the travel ban, no more tourist can be spotted now.
Kota Kinabalu city is one of the place where you can see a beautiful sunsets. It's been a while for me to visit the beaches to see the sunsets.
Having this record of the past makes me realize that we should treasure every moments. Only by looking back that we can connect the dots. This is how we assess what we have achieved and what we have lost along the way. Someday in the future, we might not see the same picture of the past again. Have a great weekend everyone.
