^{Llegar a Tacarigua de la Laguna en el Estado Miranda (en Venezuela) y adentrarse al Parque Nacional en un peñero para dirigirnos al Hotel Tortuga Lodge, fue algo mágico. Navegar por la Laguna y adentrarse al bosque de manglares que crecen a lo largo del trayecto es algo verdaderamente espectacular, son canales y canales por donde uno viaja extasiado y como si fuera poco, hay aves preciosas de todos los tamaños y colores.}

_{Arriving at Tacarigua de la Laguna in Miranda State (in Venezuela) and entering the National Park in a boat to go to the Tortuga Lodge Hotel, was something magical. Navigating the lagoon and entering the mangrove forest that grows along the way is something truly spectacular, there are channels and canals through which one travels ecstatic and as if that were not enough, there are beautiful birds of all sizes and colors.}
 

^{Al llegar al pequeño muelle, nos recibe un largo puente de madera que nos hace sentir una sensación de aventura, es muy largo y muy bonito y nos guiará directo hasta la playa.}

_{Arriving at the small pier, we are greeted by a long wooden bridge that makes us feel a sense of adventure, it is very long and very beautiful and will guide us straight to the beach.}

 

^{Frente a nosotros aparece una playa casi virgen, de arena blanquecina y muy limpia. Solo queda registrarse e ir a las cabañas a cambiarse y empezar a disfrutar de la tranquilidad que nos brinda el lugar.}

_{In front of us there is an almost virgin beach, with whitish sand and very clean. The only thing left to do is to check in and go to the cabins to change and start enjoying the tranquility of the place.}

 

^{Al ser una playa larga y a la cual se le llega solo en peñero, hay muy poca gente y uno siente que tiene un gran espacio propio, ideal para relajarse, para disfrutar de un buen libro, para contemplar los colores del cielo y del mar y también para brindar con un delicioso cocktail.}

_{As it is a long beach and can only be reached by boat, there are very few people and you feel that you have a large space of your own, ideal to relax, to enjoy a good book, to contemplate the colors of the sky and the sea and also to toast with a delicious cocktail.}

 

^{El fin de semana transcurre como si estuviéramos en un spa, realmente lo que deseábamos en ese momento. Una comida deliciosa, unos cuartos sencillos pero cómodos y una brisa apacible.
Tres aves en vuelo nos indican nuestro regreso a la ciudad.}

_{The weekend goes by as if we were at a spa, really what we wanted at the time. Delicious food, simple but comfortable rooms and a gentle breeze.
Three birds in flight signal our return to the city.}

 

_{Luego de navegar y disfrutar una vez más del bosque de manglares, salimos a la Laguna con sus aguas tranquilas y sus paisajes de ensueño.}

_{After sailing and enjoying the mangrove forest once again, we went out to the lagoon with its calm waters and dreamlike landscapes.}

 

^{Mientras navegamos hacia el puerto la tarde comienza a caer y es inevitable sentir nostalgia, tratamos de guardar en nuestra memoria cada minuto que nos queda de ese maravilloso paseo y de otro de los tantos lugares tan espectaculares que tiene nuestra Venezuela.}

_{As we sail towards the port the afternoon begins to fall and it is inevitable to feel nostalgic, we try to keep in our memory every minute we have left of that wonderful ride and of another of the many spectacular places that our Venezuela has..}
