Hello #Hive friends... Today I share with you some photos and some stories again, but today I left the town streets behind and walked along the country roads around.... So this is my entry to today's #monomad challenge...

Z1.jpg

-A woman carrying water (Una mujer acarreando agua)-

Z2.jpg

-Mother and daughter coming to town (Madre e hija viniendo al pueblo)-

Z8.jpg

-Pedro bringing firewood (Pedro trayendo leña)-

The old asphalt road is usually dotted with stories from very early on... One carries drinking water to her house using an old baby carriage, a woman and her daughter head into town to work so they can buy a few things... And Pedro brings his old wheelbarrow full of firewood for cooking because his house doesn't use domestic gas... Everything happens in less than a kilometer...

Z5.jpg

-The Cattle Corral (El Corral del Ganado)-

Z9.jpg

-The Paddock (EL Potrero)-

On both sides of the road you can see pastures, corrals, fences and animals... Some farms are still productive, others are just sitting there undeveloped or waiting for someone to buy them... But the images are always bucolic...

Z6.jpg

-Under construction (En construcción)-

Z7.jpg

-Through the window (A través de la ventana)-

The cost of construction materials is high around here and most farmers cannot afford to buy concrete blocks and mortar mix... So once again small houses are appearing whose walls are erected with mud bricks and straw built in an artisanal way and with materials from the same land... I personally find this very charming!...

Z10.jpg

-Roberto herding his cows (Roberto arreando sus vacas)-

Z11.jpg

-Luis herding his cows (Luis arreando sus vacas)-

Roberto and Luis are young, I have known them since they were very young children and I watched them wandering around the fields barefoot... Now they have grown up and both have small plots of land... However, their land does not have enough space to have paddocks, so they take their cows daily to other places with more space and enough grass... It is hard work, with no days off, and it never seems to end... 🐮

Z4.jpg

-The cat (El gato)-

Life in the countryside makes the cats here different from those who live in the village... They are almost wild, it is difficult to photograph them, they hide easily and they can be hellishly fast and even aggressive if cornered... So taking a picture of one of them is very close to photographing a small wild cat... 😻

:)... Muchas gracias por pasar por aquí y apreciar... Saludos y feliz día para ti y tu gente cercana amigo @pumarte!

trip in the village with some views that are typical of the village.
the atmosphere in your village, reminds me of the old village.
all photos look perfect.

Thank you very much for always supporting and motivating @asklanbudi friend!!!

thanks again buddy :))

have a nice day

¡Excelente trabajo amigo, saludos!

the dude with the firewood brought back memories of me gathering wood for the narrowboat

Oh dude... I guess you must have a lot of good memories from those days with "Badger"... I once had (from a young age up to my 30's) an old "Toyota Land cruiser FJ40" which I named "Arturo ( like the King)" and he used it to travel mountains and distant roads, he even slept inside it and cooked with firewood under a tarp that hung from his back door during those excursions... I have a lot of memories of that time... But everything has its beginning and its end, because we all change... Since Arturo and I separated, I had several cars but I didn't name any of them and I sold them without caring too much.... Until last year, when my wife bought an old and dilapidated Toyota Corolla from the year 99 and we called it "Coro"... I invested about $2000 (which here is a lot of money and can be used for more logical things) to restore it!... Now "Coro" looks nice... Even though my wife won't let me drive it easily!... haaa haaa haaa...

Wow, as usually happens to me... I write too long, my apologies... But your comment reminded me about "Arturo" and I wanted to talk a little about "when we put names to things" (especially when it comes to vehicles) ... Then it's like they take on "some life of their own"... That's nice, but then it hurts to leave them... :(

I'm glad that photo of Pedro carrying firewood has made you evoke some pleasant memories... Thank you so much for stopping by and appreciating, have an excellent day... I send hugs @scubahead friend!
