I was talking to a friend who is also a photographer yesterday about some plans to visit Iceland again, hopefully in the foreseeable future. Well, considering we have the health, the time and the money... everything is possible.
This conversation inspired me to share with you today few black and white "portraits" of the Beauty in Icelandic Nature. The magic of photography... to preserve places and memories in time. I am not sure we're gonna make it there this year however I would like that pretty much. Even only after few years, I am certain those places will look a bit different, not only due to harsh weather reshaping them but also due to the change of our own perspectives!
Here are few freshly processed photos I am sharing for the very first time, here.
In case someone wonders, the half of the images are long exposure photographs, the shutter speed of the first one is 30 seconds, taken at sunset.
Check out the people on the fourth image, for scale, that's a huge waterfall and I had a lot of water droplets on my lens that day!
You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything.
