Monomad: Architecture in Downtown Calgary

Shooting with a wide-angle lens will often distort tall buildings and make them look more imposing or even more impressive. I like leaning into this, as I find it can be freeing to break a few of the rules. If you want to get buildings looking normal without any keystoning or bowing or any other possible distortions, you can use a tilt-shift lens, which will help straighten out those features, and one day I hope to try this type of lens. For my wild angle use, though, I don't mind going a little wild and seeing what I can do.
