My entry for the #monomad challenge.
I visited the swamp nearby again this week to take some photos of plant life beneath the murky water. Although no Swamp Thing, there was definitely a sense of the fantastic beneath the fresh water.

I captured the sun bouncing off of the gentle ripples too; the scene looked like a million little suns dancing upon the world's surface.
The beauty beneath the murk; I do love my local swamp.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my work!
Somehow the monochrome allows you to see them in a new way.
Yeah, I've been loving this community for awhile; to be honest, I never understood b&w photography until I joined this community a few years ago and then started experimenting with my mobile phone photos. Now I just need to get going on some analog photography per my the wonderful advice and work of @victorbz !
Really great abstract photos. I am impressed!!!
thanks @lilideleopolis - they turned out pretty good for a few photos on a walk!
Sunlight creates amazing textures in the water, and so do the plants. Stunning works :)
Thanks! I was lucky to be at the right place at the right time (and bring a camera along too, of course)
thanks...I think I just happened to be at that spot at the right time
