What do my Raspberry Pi's do - raspi06

in Raspberry Pi4 years ago

Currently raspi05 Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Rev 1.2 is connected to a Raspberry Pi 7" display mounted in a SmartiPi case:

The Raspberry Pi 7" display screen is also a touch screen interface. I am going to use this setup for a live display output for a future Python program to display things like indoor/outdoor temperatures and possibly a Hive status screen.

That display looks amazing. How much did you get it for? Might have to get one when I'm working again.

Edit: Found it on amazon. Really cheap, only $29: https://amzn.to/3cpjWWE. Definitely grabbing one when I am working. This pandemic really sucks.

Edit 2: Thats only the case, the screen costs more, at $58: https://amzn.to/2z5jFK1.

That link did not work for me. Make sure it is a true Raspberry Pi Foundation 7" Touchscreen LCD Display. Probably closer to $80 US. That display is a chinese clone of the SmartiPi that I got from a Kickstarter. Here is their official link https://smarticase.com/collections/all

Ah, thx for the info.
