Magnetos mystify me. Kudos to you if you understand them. I think of electricity as little sparks flowing back and forth in solid copper pipes like water in hollow copper pipes, and have managed to only rarely electrocute myself.

I think the electrons travel on the outer surface of the wire.
Only silver wire conducts through the center.
This is why silver wires can be thinner.
Yes, I do understand that principle, although am unaware that silver is somehow different. It's the mysteries of magnetism and electricity that baffle me. How these physical properties interact and function are utterly baffling to me, and that pollutes any deeper understanding of electronics beyond basic wiring.
