Kurt Saxon thought civilization would have collapsed by now.
He spent the majority of his life collecting knowledge of home based business.
His goal was for all his readers to survive at a more comfortable level than those that were less provident.

He knew the importance of communicating at a level folks could understand.
Most of what he has compiled for our benefit can be easily understood by everybody.

He also includes a subtle sense of humor.

Magnetos mystify me. Kudos to you if you understand them. I think of electricity as little sparks flowing back and forth in solid copper pipes like water in hollow copper pipes, and have managed to only rarely electrocute myself.

Thanks!

I think the electrons travel on the outer surface of the wire.
Only silver wire conducts through the center.
This is why silver wires can be thinner.

Yes, I do understand that principle, although am unaware that silver is somehow different. It's the mysteries of magnetism and electricity that baffle me. How these physical properties interact and function are utterly baffling to me, and that pollutes any deeper understanding of electronics beyond basic wiring.

It's majick,...

Since his goals was for all his readers to survive at a more comfotable level, can we say that he has achieved his goal or not?
Are they really comfortable?

The corrupt government hasn't collapsed yet, so no.
It's a matter of time, he ran out, I'm hoping I live long enough to see it, but plenty of people haven't.

Anybody that is capable of following the directions in the book will be better off if they do.
I'm better off for having encountered the man.

stamp it! coil it! mark it with a P!

Magmetos must have been used for generating electric then.

Yes, before alternators was magnetos.
