One of the most unexpected and rare things that can happen to me in my daily life as an amateur photographer, fascinated by both nature and photography in general, is when I get the opportunity to photograph a butterfly.
I don't see an opportunity just like that. Some butterfly gives it to me.
Yes, I know I often talk about it in my posts here and often show butterflies. But that's because it's one of the most challenging things to photograph that challenges me almost every day during the warm seasons.
It's because I have a kind of personal argument with these particular insects in the garden like "do you respect me or you don't respect me" 😄, which means "today will you let me take a picture of you or not".
Well, although it is rare, it does happen. And here is the result. And I say here that this is not the only such case, and I will have more such posts - successful or not, with the most diverse types of butterflies.
Well, who doesn't like butterflies? 🤭 So I hope you will like them too.
(I am showing the photos in the order they were taken.)
|Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.|
