We have just started season 19 of Axie Infinity and among the comments, we can make about it I will share two in particular. The first one is related to the changes in several cards, where evidently the aqua and bird class cards were disadvantaged and the plant, bug, and some reptile and beast cards were favored.
This change aims to change the meta of the game, where aqua-type axies abounded and lately also bird axies. I think this is good, so the game does not become monotonous and forces you to study the different possible strategies to stay competitive.
On the other hand, I feel that this also makes the game more balanced, in fact, as an experience, I can say that lowering the power to some strong cards has allowed me to come back to games that before I would have lost easily. Here is an example where I was able to withstand my opponent's attack and take advantage of my turn.
Another example is the one concerning the famous terminators, which in order to beat them, even without a 0 cost card, the key is to be able to have a good amount of energy. Well, this strategy served me last season on several occasions, and this is no exception, especially for that detail of the points that lowered some of their attacks. Here are a couple of battles against a terminator reptile and the other against a dusk.

Este cambio apunta a variar el meta del juego, donde abundaban los axies tipo agua y últimamente también los de pájaro. Esto me parece que está bien, así el juego no se hace monótono y obliga a estudiar las diversas estrategias posibles para poder mantenerse en un nivel competitivo.
Por otra parte, siento que así también se hace más equilibrado el juego, de hecho como experiencia puede decir que al bajarle la potencia a algunas cartas fuertes me ha permitido poder remontar partidas que antes hubiese perdido fácilmente. Aquí un ejemplo donde precisamente pude aguantar el ataque de mi contrincante y aprovechar mi turno.
Otro ejemplo es el referente a los famosos terminator, los cuáles para poder ganarles, incluso sin carta de coste 0, la clave está en poder tener una buena cantidad de energía. Pues bien, esta estrategia me sirvió la temporada pasada en varias ocasiones, y esta no está siendo la excepción de manera especial por ese detalle de los puntos que le bajaron a algunos de sus ataques. Aquí un par de batallas contra un reptil terminator y la otra contra un dusk.

This will be helped by the integration of new game mechanics, such as updated battle modes, the integration of lands, and other mini-games. But in a special way, something that I think will make the Axie universe stronger will be the improvement of our warriors, this also seems interesting to me because it will allow us to specialize and improve in specific axies, which in analogy with Pokemon I see as the evolution of them.

Por esta razón, comienza diciendo en la parte del White paper que citan que no conviene un crecimiento acelerado en la economía porque produce una inflación no saludable, ahora bien tampoco puede ser algo muy lento porque sino cada vez se va a hacer más difícil que nuevas personas se unan (por los altos precios derivados en una tasa baja de oferta de Axies), por ello, el idea es administrar un punto medio.
A esto va a ayudar la integración de nuevas mecánicas de juego, tales como las actualización de los modos de batallas, la integración de las lands y otros mini-juegos.
