Hello Everyone.. I hope that all of us are always in good condition and that everything is going smoothly.

As someone who likes to hunt for photo objects in nature (bushes and forests) of course I often come across some wild plants that have beautiful flowers. It's just that before there was no special community about flower plants so that some of them who are looking for photo objects in nature are less attractive to take photos of wild flower plants.

Therefore I want to thank @hive-145264 who has created a forum to share the findings of flower plants. And from the community description I read it was all about flowers. And this is of course interesting to welcome and celebrate together.

As for my first post here I found a wild plant that has beautiful flowers, and that is Heliotropium indicum, in Indonesia this plant is known as "sangketan". This plant is also known as traditional medicine, this is because some sources say that this plant contains chemicals such as indicine, acetyl indicine, and is bitter, neutral and toxic.

Of course this plant caught my attention, apart from being a weed which is often considered a pest for agriculture but has a positive side. More than that, he often becomes a stopover for one of the insect species (hoverfly) that looks for nectar in the flower of the plant with the scientific name Heliotropium indicum.

For that reason, on this occasion I share a post about this Heliotropium indicum plant. Besides the beautiful flowers there are also other benefits, although they also have a negative side as well.

Then where can we find this plant?

I myself got this plant by the side of the road in a rice field area belonging to a resident of Serba Jaman Tunong village, Tanah Luas, Sumatra Island. And it has become fertile land for this plant to grow on the edge of rice fields, vacant land or even in bushes and forests.

And below I have uploaded some photos of this plant's flowers, let's take a peek at the photos below!

Hello @alexa-macro. It really is a beautiful flower as well as striking because of the cluster shape in which the flowers bloom. Thanks for sharing with the community.

Thank you for the welcome @nicanor-mosquera
