Music, singing, painting are just some of the arts proposed by Japanese entertainment geishas. With this work I wanted to depict an Asian female face with the classic style that distinguishes the Geisha. The shades of color are in strong contrast with the classic colors with which these subjects are found in the various illustrations, this choice was made according to my personal taste. Experimenting with this new artistic technique is very interesting for me and I am learning many things and techniques to improve myself. In this particular work I managed to get a very interesting pictorial effect. Being able to obtain this result was not easy, in fact during the initial phases of the work the brush strokes always seemed too blurry and shiny, with a halo effect that was far from the idea I wanted to achieve, after many tests I approached the idea of have your eyes on me. I am very satisfied with the result obtained and I find that the chromatic range used works very well.

Con questa opera ho voluto raffigurare un volto femminile asiatico con il classico stile che contraddistingue la Geisha. Le tonalità di colore sono in forte contrasto con i classici colori con cui si trovano questi soggetti nelle varie illustrazioni, questa scelta è stata fatta sulla base del mio gusto personale. Sperimentare questa nuova tecnica artistica è per me molto interessante e sto imparando moltissime cose e tecniche per migliorarmi, In questa opera in particolare sono riuscito ad ottenere un effetto pittorico molto interessante. Riuscire ad ottenere questo risultato non è stato semplice, infatti durate le fasi iniziali del lavoro le pennellate sembravano sempre troppo sfocate e patinate, con un effetto alone che si distanziava molto da l'idea che volevo concretizzare, dopo molte prove mi sono avvicinato all'idea che mi ero prefissato. Sono molto soddisfatto del risultato ottenuto e trovo che la gamma cromatica utilizzata funzioni molto bene.

Lots of emotions I feel in this painting~ nice. The colors of a deep blue and the accents of striking yellow is so powerful even though its not used a lot. Yellow is such a hard color to paint in an almost monochromatic painting because it screams for attention but you did it so well. Amazing stuff!! Really~ from a fellow artist.
