Last night I was contacted by the good @ zottone444, who would like me to create a graphic work for his community dedicated to FORTNITE, of course I accept , I also accept very gladly because since I arrived on HIVE he has always been very helpful, removing many doubts.
He explains to me that he needs a graphic for the banner at the top of his page, I get as much information as possible about what he would like, at the end of the chat, we understand that in the banner there must be two characters (Aura and Crystal) and the classic Fortnite structures .
I get to work taking into account that it will be a very large and not very high image, like many banners, so it will be impossible to insert the characters in their entirety, or rather, it is possible but the final result would be tiny.
First of all I'm going to search the web for useful material to create this composition:
- Characters (Aura and Crystal)
- Bricks
- Background
Once the material was collected, I went to cut it out and define the edges.
At this point I decided how the final composition would be, that is, in the center the half-length of the two characters shoulder to shoulder, in the background the background image, finally the broken wall in the foreground on both sides.
The composition works, so I went to perfect it. First I gave a 3D effect to the side bricks, to create more depth, then I added colored filters to create a more homogeneous and lively environment, we are talking about a game full of colors, so it seemed correct to follow this chromatic style. finally I entered the signatures on the right.
I also wanted to create two other solutions, in order to give @ zottone444 a greater choice, in order to have more material to use in the future, all the material does not differ too much from the initial idea, in fact few details change, the style is always that.
It was a great pleasure for me to create these banners.

Ieri sera vengo contattato dal buon @zottone444, il quale vorrebbe che andassi a realizzare un lavoro grafico per la sua comunità dedicata a Fortnite, ovviamente accetto, accetto anche molto volentieri perchè da quando sono arrivato su HIVE, lui è sempre stato molto disponibile, chiarendomi non pochi dubbi.
Mi spiega che gli serve una grafica per il banner in alto della sua pagina, mi faccio dare più informazioni possibili su quello che vorrebbe, alla fine della chiaccherata, capiamo che nel banner dovranno essere presenti due personaggi (Aura e Cristallo) e le classiche strutture di Fortnite.
Mi metto all'opera tenendo conto che sarà un'immagine molto larga e poco alta, come molti banner, quindi sarà impossibile inserire i personaggi nella loro interezza, o meglio, è possibile ma al risultato finale risulterebbero minuscoli.
Come prima cosa vado a reperire nel web il materiale utile per creare questa composizione:
- Personaggi (Aura e Cristallo)
- Mattoni
- Sfondo
Una volta raccolto il materiale sono andato a scontornali e a definire i bordi.
A questo punto ho deciso come sarebbe stata la composizione finale, ovvero al centro il mezzo busto dei due personaggi spalla a spalla, sullo sfondo l'immagine di sfondo, infine il muro rotto in primo piano su entrambi i lati.
La composizione funziona, quindi sono andato a rifinire il tutto. Come prima cosa ho dato un effetto 3D ai mattoni laterali, per creare maggiore profondità, poi ho aggiunto dei filtri colorati per creare un ambiente più omogeneo e vivace, stiamo parlando di un gioco pieno di colori, quindi mi sembravo corretto seguire questo stile cromatico. infine ho inserito le firme sulla destra.
Ho voluto creare anche due soluzioni in più, così da dare a @zottone444 una maggiore scelta, così da avere del materiale in più da utilizzare in futuro, tutto il materiale non si discosta troppo dall'idea iniziale, infatti cambiano pochi dettagli, lo stile è sempre quello.
Per me è stato un grande piacere creare questi banner.
