Today I have used after a long time the card CHILD OF THE FOREST, monster Rari, belonging to the element of Earth. It is an offensive card, specialized in attacks from a distance but at the same time weak in defense, so it is necessary to place our character safely in the deck of cards that we decide to deploy.
But let's see the initial features at level 1:
- Attack: 1
- Speed: 5
- Defense: 3
- Armor: none
- Skill: Snipe
At a basic level the card is quite weak and good for use in early games, in the Bronze League. The peculiarity is certainly the attack speed, really fast. I have already talked about defense as a weak point and it is necessary to defend CHILD OF THE FOREST, deploying it in the second half of the grid, towards the tail.
In my battle, find the link below, I have deployed the card in the penultimate position, trying to offer as much protection as possible. Did you notice the speed of the attacks? Impressive!

NECTAR QUEEN
In the first position I deployed the queen of bees, upgraded to level 4, and the heaviness of her attack (4) is well felt on the opposing monsters, pulverizing them one at a time, and dodging some enemy attacks thanks to her ** Flying * ability *.
Life points (12) are an excellent defense, although it has no armor, to which you must add the summoner's +1 life point.
BROWNIE
Excellent resource that allows my cards to gain speed and, paired with CREEPING OOZE, constitute a very interesting advantage, not to be underestimated, which I appreciated during the various battles.
EARTH ELEMENTAL
It is one of my favorite cards, upgraded to level 3, develops a +2 ranged attack and a good defense of 6 life points. The mana cost is very low (3) and allows me to put it in any context. Truly a little gem that I intend to develop even more
CHILD OF THE FOREST
Upgraded to level 3, it has a ranged 2 attack that is very useful for dealing damage. As already said, in my battle I preferred to deploy him in the penultimate position, correct choice, which allowed me to obtain a clear victory!
CREEPING OOZE
Inevitable presence in my formation, the advantage of slowing down the opponent's monsters is really huge and often it is the extra gear to win games. Not to be underestimated, indeed I strongly recommend it!

The @splinterlands contests are not only aimed at making us get generous upvotes but it is above all to help us discover new cards that can really be very useful in our battles and stimulate us to new strategies and more options in battle

Oggi ho utilizzato dopo tanto tempo la carta CHILD OF THE FOREST, mostro Rari, appartenente all'elemento della Terra. È una carta offensiva, specializzata in attacchi dalla distanza ma al tempo stesso debole in difesa, perciò è necessario posizionare il nostro personaggio in modo sicuro nel mazzo di carte che noi decidiamo schierare.
Ma vediamo un po' le caratteristiche iniziali a livello 1:
- Attacco: 1
- Velocità: 5
- Difesa: 3
- Armatura: nessuna
- Abilità: Snipe
A livello base la carta è abbastanza debole e va bene per essere utilizzata nelle partite iniziali, nella lega di Bronzo. La peculiarità è sicuramente la velocità d'attacco, davvero rapidissimo. Ho già parlato della difesa come punto debole ed è necessario difendere CHILD OF THE FOREST, schierandolo nella seconda metà dello schieramento, verso la coda.
Nella mia battaglia, trovate il link in basso, ho schierato la carta in penultima posizione, cercando di offrire quanta più protezione possibile. Avete notato la velocità degli attacchi? Impressionante!

NECTAR QUEEN
In prima posizione ho schierato la regina delle api, potenziato a livello 4, e la pesantezza del suo attacco (4) ben si fa sentire sui mostri avversari, polverizzandoli uno alla volta, e schivando alcuni attacchi avversari grazie alla sua abilità Flying.
I punti vita (12) sono un'ottima difesa, sebbene non abbia armatura alcuna, a cui bisogna aggiungere il punto vita +1 dell'evocatore.
BROWNIE
Ottimo risorsa che consente alla mie carte di guadagnare velocità e, in coppia con CREEPING OOZE, costituiscono un vantaggio molto interessante, da non sottovalutare, che ho apprezzato durante le varie battaglie.
EARTH ELEMENTAL
E' tra le mie carte preferite, potenziato a livello 3, sviluppa un attacco da distanza +2 ed una buona difesa di 6 punti vita. Il costo del mana è molto basso (3) e mi consente di poterlo inserire in qualsiasi contesto. Davvero un piccolo gioiello che conto di sviluppare ancor di più
CHILD OF THE FOREST
Potenziato a livello 3, ha un attacco dalla distanza 2 molto utile a procurare danni. Come già detto, nella mia battaglia ho preferito schierarlo in penultima posizione, scelta corretta, che mi ha permesso di ottenere una vittoria netta!
CREEPING OOZE
Immancabile presenza nella mia formazione, il vantaggio di rallentare i mostri avversari è davvero enorme e spesso è la marcia in più per vincere le partite. Da non sottovalutare, anzi io ve lo consiglio fortemente!
Conclusione
I contest di @splinterlands non hanno solo l'obiettivo di farci ottenere upvotes generosi ma è soprattutto quello di aiutarci a scoprire nuove carte che possono essere davvero molto utili alle nostre battaglie e stimolarci a nuove strategie e maggiori opzioni in battaglia
