Hello friends,
Sunday I returned to Torretta, a small hamlet in the province of Potenza.
In the summer, when I was just a child, as the school closed, my family and I left the noisy town and moved to this small town for two months.
My father continued to work in the city and then commuted every day while my mother, my sisters and I enjoyed the tranquility of this place in the company of cousins, relatives and friends.
Many beautiful memories tie me to Torretta and I always return there with great pleasure.

My daughter Chiara also loves to come here, to be able to eat outdoors, play with kittens and doggies is for her reason of joy and freedom.

Last month I had the pleasant encounter with three adorable and tender black kittens.

On Sunday as soon as we arrived in Torretta what could my daughter Chiara ask?

Daddy are we going to see Aunt Scenna's kittens?
Scenna is the diminutive of the name of Vita Crescenza, a name quite common in girls born about 70-80 years ago in this area of Basilicata.

Armed with a lot of kibble, we headed to my aunt's house.

And here are the three adorable kittens as they became after about a month.

I have always loved animals.
It is impossible not to love puppies like these kittens.
Yet there are heartless men who enjoy mistreating animals or abandon them in the middle of a street as soon as they get bored of looking after them.

Animals are not toys!

Three kittens were (again) a pleasant parenthesis of tenderness within which I wanted to let all of you Hive friends in.

Ciao amici,
domenica sono ritornato a Torretta, una piccola frazione in provincia di Potenza.
L'estate, quando ero solo un bimbo, come si chiudeva la scuola, io e la mia famiglia lasciavamo la rumorosa città e ci trasferivamo per due mesi in questo piccolo centro abitato.
Mio padre continuava a lavorare in città e quindi faceva il pendolare ogni giorno mentre io, le mie sorelle e mia madre ci godevamo la tranquillità di questo posto in compagnia di cugini, parenti e amici.
Tantissimi ricordi belli mi legano a Torretta e ci torno sempre con molto piacere.

Anche mia figlia Chiara adora venire qui, poter mangiare all'aria aperta, giocare con i gattini e i cagnolini dei parenti è per lei motivo di gioia e libertà.

Il mese scorso avevo fatto il piacevole incontro con tre adorabili e teneri gattini neri.

Domenica appena arrivati a Torretta cosa poteva chiedere mia figlia Chiara?

Papà andiamo a vedere i gattini di zia Scenna?
Scenna è il diminuitivo del nome di Vita Crescenza, nome abbastanza diffuso nelle bimbe nate circa 70-80 anni fa in questa zona della Basilicata.

Armati di tanti croccantini, ci siamo diretti verso casa di mia zia.

Ed ecco i tre adorabili gattini come sono diventati dopo circa un mese.

Ho sempre amato gli animali.
Non riesco a capire come si fa a non volere bene a dei batuffoli come questi gattini.
Eppure ci sono uomini senza cuore che si divertono a maltrattare gli animali oppure li abbandonano in mezzo ad una strada appena si sono scocciati di tenerli con loro.

Gli animali non sono giocattoli!

Tre gattini sono stati (nuovamente) una piacevole parentesi di tenerezza all'interno della quale volevo fare entrare tutti voi amici di Hive.

Un tenero abbraccio :)

La mia cara zia, alla tenera età di 86 anni gli da ogni giorno da mangiare ma non gli ha dato nessun nome :)
Li chiama tutti nel suo dialetto con la stessa parola: "Musch Musch" 😂
