I've decided to start this new column that won't have a precise cadence, sometimes, when I feel like it, I'll publish quotes from some tribes of American Indians; phrases dear to me and which can be a starting point for reflections and moments of growth.

What this passage suggests to us and what I also think is that very often it is better to act than to speak.
This, in my opinion, is a pearl of wisdom!
This thought can be true for so many different reasons; first of all they say that the words are carried away by the wind and, as I see it, it is extremely true.
It is necessary to let the facts speak and leave the words to others.
I grew up believing that it's our actions that qualify us; naturally with this thought of mine I don't want to say that words don't have their importance and that they shouldn't be weighed but, when it comes to concreteness, things to do, something to change or build, the word must leave room for action.
Furthermore, looking at other points of view as well, one can easily think that talking too much about our projects, especially if they are important ones, can fill us with tensions, anxieties and expectations that could be disappointed, which is certainly not a good thing; for this very reason the best thing to do to achieve something is to act.
Always better to use fewer words and more actions!
Among other things, personally, I am a lover of silence which, again in my opinion, can be a cure for many ills and problems, therefore rather than pronouncing many words inappropriately, I prefer a reflective silence that prepares me for an explosive and decisive action.
Action more than words
If I think of some very frequent situations such as perhaps wanting to lose weight or wanting to change jobs or even the desire to undertake a new hobby, we often hear people say: "I'll start doing this from Monday...", and then procrastinate and postpone from week to week while continuing to talk about it and create expectations.
In reality, the real thing to do, the solution to a self-induced problem, would simply be to keep quiet and act starting, not from Monday, but from the very moment in which it was thought of and decided, to eat less in the case of weight loss, to find out about the opportunities that are around and maybe create new skills as regards work, etc., etc.
Needless to make a list right?
These are just some of the situations where the word should leave room for action but the list could be very long.
Having said that and before concluding, however, I would like to throw a spear in favor of words said well, those weighed, words of comfort and, more generally, all those words that are useful.
Action is fundamental, the word thought is said well has its own importance, reflection precedes everything.
As in every situation virtue lies in the middle, in the end this thing is true for Native Americans as for Latinos as for modern man... no one can escape!

Ho deciso di iniziare questa nuova rubrica che non avrà una precisa cadenza, a volte, quando mi andrà, pubblicherò delle citazioni di alcune tribù di Indiani d'America; frasi a me care e che possono essere spunto per riflessioni e momenti di crescita.
Ho immaginato che queste riflessioni fossero fatte sotto un Tepee, la tipica tenda dei Nativi Americani; ecco la citazione di oggi
Quello che questo passo ci suggerisce e che anche io penso è che, molto spesso è meglio agire che parlare.
Questa, a mio avviso, è una perla di saggezza!
Questo pensiero può essere vero per tanti motivi diversi; innanzitutto dicono che le parole le porti via il vento e, per come la vedo, è estremamente vero.
E' necessario far parlare i fatti e lasciare agli altri le parole.
Sono cresciuto con la convinzione che siano le nostre azioni a qualificarci; naturalmente con questo mio pensiero non voglio dire che le parole non abbiano la loro importanza e che non vadano pesate ma, quando si tratta di concretezza, di cose da fare, di qualcosa da cambiare o da costruire il verbo deve lasciar spazio all'agire.
Inoltre, guardando anche altri punti di vista, si può tranquillamente pensare che il parlare troppo dei nostri progetti, soprattutto se importanti, ci può caricare di tensioni, ansie e aspettative che potrebbero essere deluse, il che certamente non è un bene; proprio per questo la cosa migliore da fare per ottenere qualcosa è agire.
Sempre meglio usare meno parole e più azioni!
Tra le altre cose, personalmente, sono un amante del silenzio che, sempre secondo me, può essere cura per tanti mali e problemi pertanto al proferire tante parole a sproposito preferisco un silenzio riflessivo che prepara ad un'azione dirompente e decisa.
Azione più che parole
Se penso ad alcune situazioni molto frequenti come magari il voler perdere peso o il voler cambiare lavoro o ancora il desiderio di intraprendere un nuovo Hobby spesso sentiamo le persone dire: "Da lunedì comincio a fare questa cosa...", per poi procrastinare e rimandare di settimana in settimana continuando però a parlarne e a creare aspettative.
In realtà la vera cosa da fare, la soluzione ad un problema peraltro autoindotto, sarebbe semplicemente stare zitti e agire iniziando, non da lunedì, ma dal momento stesso in cui lo si è pensato è deciso, a mangiare di meno nel caso del dimagrimento, ad informarsi sulle opportunità che ci sono i giro e magari crearsi nuove competenze per quel che riguarda il lavoro eccetera, eccetera.
Inutile fare l'elenco vero?
Queste sono solo alcune delle situazioni in cui la parola dovrebbe lasciar spazio all'azione ma l'elenco potrebbe essere lunghissimo.
Ciò detto e prima di concludere, desidero spezzare però una lancia in favore delle parole dette bene, di quelle pesate, delle parole di conforto e, più in generale di tutte quelle parole che hanno utilità.
L'azione è fondamentale, la parola pensata è detta bene ha una sua importanza la riflessione precede il tutto.
Come in ogni situazione la virtù sta in mezzo, alla fine questa cosa vale per i Nativi d'America come per i Latini come per l'uomo moderno... nessuno può sfuggire!

I'm actually a person who loves action, words but above all reflection.
I think everything changes according to the context and situations; in a debate well thought out words certainly have a greater specific weight, than thinking about it sometimes even the words themselves can be action.
