You asked a question, I got into the archive and saw this photo. In June 2011, I extinguished the forest. I was traveling with a friend in a car and we saw smoke over the trees. We went there quickly — the edge was on fire and no one around.
We called the fire department and, without thinking twice, we grabbed the shovels that were in the trunk, soaked our clothes and rushed to dig and throw earth on the fire. In the lower left corner of the frame, you can see my friend. A burning forest is scary! The fire spreads very quickly and you need to be very careful.
We waited for a fire engine, which did not allow a big tragedy to happen.
I didn’t have a camera with me at the time and it’s just a raw frame from my phone, but it’s just filled with emotions for me.
Wow I can imagine out the photo brings back the emotions. Thanks for sharing this experience.

Thank you for that look down memory lane. 2011 was a busy and fun year. I was in the air with my camera a decent amount that year. This is one from a flight in a tiny seaplane above Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe. We took the passenger door off before the flight. Cold, windy, and a memory I'll never forget!

Holy Moly, at first I was afraid I don't even have any photos from that time (at least some more presentable), and then I soon realize I am not that young anymore :) 19.10.2011 I was in Pariz with my first DSLR - Nikon D3100 and stock lens 18-105mm. That was actually my first solo trip to a foreign country, and this is a photo I took in Saint Michael Chapel on that day.

i think late 2010 was when i got my first digital camera, there will be a lot of bad photos but could be fun if i manage to find my hdd :)

At first, I thought we need to guess when was it taken and after 5 minutes of detective work I realized there is already written IN 2011! :) But it was fun solving the puzzle.
