We decided to visit the market today and after a minor postponement due to the weather, we finally headed out. We originally planned to finish up at the market and then visit an eatery or something but somewhere during our trip, my bowels started acting up and we had to run home for a toilet emergency.
Prior to visiting the market, we had to take a 30 minute drive to a fuel station to buy some petrol for our backup generator. I wanted to buy some for the car but opted not to because the particular station doesn't sell at a good price.
Anyway, we hit a supermarket immediately after the petrol station , got some household things and then got back home for the aforementioned toilet emergency. After my toilet emergency, we went to the local market with the weather threatening to rain but we're fortunate to handle our shopping before the rain started.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip to an eatery because my wife wanted to get back home on time to watch the first episode of Big brother Nigeria. It's not a show I'm particularly fond of but she enjoys it and that's all that matters.
