The last Full Moon night of the year in Mendoza, Argentina
My friends from Liketu and of course from all of Hive and the whole web, I hope this Thursday is going great. Today we will walk through the General San Martin Park. It is a space that I have already introduced to Hive, but that is constantly changing with the seasons, and with the people who inhabit it. Also with the opportunities that the calendar offers the province to attract tourists.
Before I start with my Moon post, I want to tell you that Mendoza has been selected internationally as one of the 23 cities you must visit this 2023. It is next to others like the Loire Valley in France, Mustang in Nepal and other cities in the United States, Canada, Morocco, New Zealand and more.

La última noche de Luna Llena del año en Mendoza, Argentina
Mis amigos de Liketu y claro que de todo Hive y de toda la web, espero que este jueves vaya de mil maravillas. Hoy pasearemos por el Parque General San Martín. Se trata de un espacio que ya he presentado a Hive, pero que cambia constantemente con las estaciones, y con las personas que lo habitan. También con las oportunidades que el calendario ofrece a la provincia para atraer turistas.
Quiero, antes de empezar de lleno con mi post de la Luna, contarles que Mendoza ha sido seleccionada a nivel internacional como una de las 23 ciudades que debes visitar este 2023. Está junto a otras como el Valle del Loira en Francia, Mustang en Nepal y otras ciudades de Estados Unidos, Canadá, Marruecos, Nueva Zelanda y más.

Having said that, yesterday I went to Parque San Martin, definitely my favorite place in the heart of the city, and it's nice to try to see everything with a tourist's eyes. Well, yesterday, while I was playing the role of local tourist and also while I was running a little to exercise, I saw the splendid full moon peeking out of the east, and imposing but still tender, it appeared through the trees.
I continued walking a little more, because I wanted to catch the full moon in front of the lake, to show you how this natural satellite that always accompanies us looks from this little corner of Planet Earth.
A clear indigo sky was slowly giving way to the black mantle, while the sun was setting towards the west, hiding prematurely behind the mountain range.
The moon, light orange and with all its face illuminated, already exceeded the height of the trees and took over the sky, while the sun took charge of turning it into the star of the night.
Habiendo dicho esto les cuento que ayer fui al Parque San Martín, definitivamente mi lugar preferido del núcleo de la ciudad, y es lindo intentar ver todo con ojos de turista. Pues ayer, mientras hacía de turista local y también mientras corría un poco para ejercitar, vi que la espléndida Luna Llena se asomaba por el este, e imponente pero tierna aún, aparecía por entre los árboles.
Seguí andando un poco más, pues quería agarrar su asomar completo frente al lago, para mostrarles a ustedes cómo se ve desde este rinconcito del Planeta Tierra este satélite natural que siempre nos acompaña.
Un cielo añil claro iba dando paso al manto negro lentamente, mientras el sol se ponía hacia el oeste, escondiéndose prematuramente tras la cordillera.
La Luna, naranja claro y con todo su rostro iluminado, ya superaba la altura de los árboles y se apropiaba del cielo, mientras el astro rey se hacía cargo de convertirla en el lucero de la noche.
I stopped many times, and ran to catch her before she rose completely. I wanted to capture her with her reflection in the lake, behind the trees, behind the palm trees, with the fountain.
It wasn't just me. Many of those around the lake at the time, stopped to contemplate and photograph the December Full Moon, the last of the year. They wanted to remember this closing and beginning light, which gave rise to the most illuminated night of this last cycle of 2022.
I have loved, love and will love the Moon forever. She is a guide, a sign, a teacher, teaching how to receive is not wrong, receive to give. Receive light, give light. In my life experience and in my different stages, I have paid homage, instinctively to the Moon.
Me detuve muchas veces, y corrí para atraparla antes de que se elevara por completo. Quería capturarla con su reflejo en el lago, tras los árboles, tras las palmeras, con la fuente.
No fui solo yo. Muchos de los que estaban alrededor del lago en ese momento, se detuvieron para contemplar y fotografiar a la Luna Llena de diciembre, la última del año. Querían recordar esta luz de cierre y de inicio, que daba lugar a la noche más iluminada de este último ciclo del 2022.
He amado, amo y amaré a la Luna por siempre. Es una guía, una señal, una maestra, que enseña cómo recibir no está mal, recibir para dar. Recibe luz, da luz. En mi experiencia de vida y en mis diferentes etapas, he rendido homenaje, de manera instintiva a la Luna.
Then while walking the path of Yoga I discovered and learned (or rather I brought to this consciousness something that my soul already knew) that the Moon represents the feminine energy that exists in all beings and throughout the planet; it is the mother, the wise, the calm and is precisely the element par excellence that allows us to go inward. It invites us to pause and connect with that which the daily maelstrom prevents us from seeing.

Luego transitando el sendero del Yoga descubrí y aprendí (o mejor dicho traje a esta conciencia algo que mi alma ya sabía) que la Luna representa la energía femenina que existe en todos los seres y en todo el planeta; es la madre, la sabia, es la calma y es justamente el elemento por excelencia que nos permite ir hacia adentro. Nos invita a hacer una pausa y a conectar con eso que la vorágine diaria impide ver.

Yes! It's a very big park where many people practice sports and other people just go there and chill. Both nice things to do here in summer :D
