Maybe our ancestor burried this clam in this area for a long time. This clam found this year when my cousin build a house in their land.
This giant clam are bigger than my hands. I was amazed with the looks and size. This is my first time seeing a clam like this.
This is the front of the clam its already broken.But still can be used for decorating of the garden.
This is the back of the clam though its broken. But i can tell that this clam is burried for a long time.
This clam wasn't easy to carry for a one person. Its because of the size and kilo it was very heavy. Maybe 3 or 2 person would enough to carry this giant clam.
My uncle pile the giant clams near at their house. Maybe they would used this clam for decorating outside their house.
This is the color of the clam when they got it from the soil.I really amazed this giant clams because i never thought that this clam would found in our province. I only saw a clam in the ocean but its not that big like this .
Hello everyone. Yesterday, I visited my cousins house. There I saw a giant clam fossils bigger than my hands.This clam was accidentally excavated when my cousin built a house in their newly bought land in our province. When the worker digged the soil ,they found plenty of giant clams that burried in this site. They used a digging bar for the soil so most of the clams were broken by accident .At first, they thought that it was a stone that they hit through digging bars. But when they go further digging of the soil, they found out a plenty of giant clams burried in there. They picked all of them and pile outside of their house .I asked them what are they doing for the clams that they found.
They said that they used the clams for decorating outside of their house. They dont have any idea how old this clams are. But when i look the texture of the clams i could tell that the clams burried for a long time in the soil. They are lucky that they found this giant clam fossils in their area. Because this kind of clam is hard to find nowadays. Maybe this thing is an antique that it cost so much money if they sell it to the antique collector.

Looks huge. But, what's the size of a normal clam?
@migka I saw a clam in the sea 2 to 3 inches thats its pretty normal size for me. But this fossils clams is huge compared to what i saw in the ocean.
I have never seen giant clams yet. Maybe, your ancestors acquired beautiful pearls from it back then. That would earn you big time if ever the fossil is sold.
