While I was out getting the registration done on my car, I decided to bring my camera along with me because Provo has some really cool buildings in it. This is the Provo City Center Temple for the Mormon Church. It was originally built around 1861, but it caught fire in 2010 and was restored shortly later.

While I was there taking pictures, there were a lot of people there on the temple grounds. It was pretty funny seeing all these church members in their church clothes walking around and then I was just there with shorts, a Pink Floyd shirt, and covered in tattoos. While I am not religious at all, I do like the architecture of some of the old church buildings for the different religions. While I was in Krakow, Poland, some of my favorite pictures I took were of the different churches there in the city.

After I left Provo and headed back home, I stopped and got some lunch and noticed a nail salon next to the place I ate and I decided that I needed to get a pedicure. If you have never had a pedicure in your life, you are missing out. It is way more than just getting your toe nails clipped and colored. I got their deluxe pedicure which included a foot soak, scrub, leg and foot massage, hot stone massage, and a hot wax wrap.

Man, that was just what my tired feet needed because they feel great. I didn't get any color on my nails this time because the last time I did, the gel was annoying and I just picked at it until I peeled it all off. The military ruined my feet, and today I realized that I need to get these pedicures done a lot more often. The last pedicure I had was when my wife and I went to Thailand. Now that was a good pedicure and instead of it costing me $85 like it does here in the US, it was only like $5.

I've got some more pictures of different buildings that I am working on. I will be posting them within the next few days. Provo is a cool city with some really neat architecture.

Absolutely no matter what religion they belong to, such religious places have very beautiful architecture. Since people value religion very much from the past to the present, they try to build them in the best way possible. It's really incredible.

I think I need to go for a pedicure sometime. You described it in such a way that I wish I was in a pedicure right now lol.

The churches gotta spend their money on something.

So many religious buildings have amazing and impressive architecture... and certainly well worth photographing. I suppose it's testament to all the money they collect from their "flock" that they can build edifices like that...

=^..^=

Yep. Churches have to justify all the money they take from people by building these expensive temples.

I just noticed that religious infrastuctures are far more beautiful than the institutional or the regular ones. I'm always amazed to see one.

Some of them are pretty cool looking.

Beatifull city brother <3

These are some really amazing shots

Thank you

The architecture of this temple is spectacular, or rather it is great in every sense of the word. The captures you made are really wonderful. 😁
