Siempre es una bendición poder celebrar con mi familia sus cumpleaños, y esta semana lo hicimos por partida doble, porque mi madre y mi hermana pequeña cumplen años con un día de diferencia. Normalmente cortamos una sola torta, ya saben, para ahorrar un poco, pero este año quisimos complacerlas y compramos una para cada una: una de parchita y otra de fresa. ¡Estaban riquísimas!. Pensábamos que comeríamos torta toda la semana, pero la realidad es que apenas alcanzó para merendar al día siguiente 😅. En fin, me siento feliz de saber que lo pasaron genial y que recibieron el regalo más importante: la salud. ¡Feliz cumpleaños, mamá y Brenda!

It’s always a blessing to be able to celebrate my family’s birthdays with them, and this week we had a double celebration because my mom and my little sister’s birthdays are just one day apart. We usually cut just one cake—you know, to save a little money—but this year we wanted to treat them, so we bought one for each of them: one passion fruit and one strawberry. They were delicious! We thought we’d be eating cake all week, but the truth is, there was barely enough left for an afternoon snack the next day 😅. Anyway, I’m happy to know they had a great time and received the most important gift of all: good health. Happy birthday, Mom and Brenda!
