Chinese New Year has finally come to an end. For a person who loves Chinese New Year, I am a bit reluctant for it to end. Hahaha.

So I decided to still celebrate the last day of it. My in-laws usually do not celebrate much of Chap Goh Meh (which is the 15th day of CNY in Hokkien dialect). However I thought maybe to let my boys remember it, we could still go over to have a meal with them though my son's go to their house almost everyday now. I ordered in some Nandos and a bit of Portuguese egg tarts and that was a simple dinner for us.

It is very unique that CNY started on a Sunday this year and ends on a Sunday too. This actually sums up 3 Sundays in church during the CNY period. I was thrilled cos I get to wear all my cheongsams!!! I really like cheongsams especially the Mandarin collar which is 如意结in Mandarin, which means a "lucky knot". 如means likens something, 意means desire so I read it as per desired. Coincidentally, my Chinese name has the same 如!I managed to take photos with some church friends who also really really like cheongsams like me and introduced cheongsam tops to some who do not wear it before this year.

Anyways, I felt this year CNY was really fulfilling. My son's learnt to wish the elders in Mandarin and they just enjoyed doing it, especially the youngest. I got to go home to be with my parents and siblings. I also got to gift some relatives during this season and God blessed with with enough. I am also grateful we still have each other among the important friends and family members. I count my blessings..

The year is not over yet. Still with challenges and different levels for us to conquer and overcome. I believe that we will have grace for every thing and event that comes our way.

Here is me wishing you one last round of a prosperous Chinese New Year and throughout the year with good health and happiness! Gong xi gong xi! 🐇🧧🍊🧨
