Hey guys,

I hope you are ready for some virtual shopping because my today´s post will show you some amazing handmade products and handicrafts that are available on Zanzibar.
I was really excited to see that the locals use only natural materials for their production and that all of this is handmade. Very often, the sellers are also the same people who actually make the products and you can even watch them working on it.
A lot of the souvenirs are made from banana leaves and I bought many such products but I also bought this beautiful dress made from the traditional Swahili cloth.
I just love their colorful designs and I wish I brought a bigger suitcase so that I could buy more 😃
Some shops even offer this service that you can pick a cloth and design and they will tailor make the size and shape of the dress specifically for you and you can just pick it up the next day when the dress is finished 🙂

Enjoy! 🙂
