El proyecto arquitectónico del templo católico lo realizó el arquitecto e ingeniero romano Marcos Redimi. Un dato importante es que el pago que solicito Marcos Redimi fue tan solo lo correspondiente a los planos elaborados para el diseño, obsequiado así la construcción del templo religioso.

El diseño nos permite ver su forma de cruz griega cuya cubierta se basa en una nave central, dos naves laterales y una cúpula que fue diseñada con la intención de que fuera vista desde cualquier punto de la ciudad de Caracas, Venezuela. La estructura fue construida en concreto armado y muros levantados en ladrillo, revestidos con mármol travertino.
The design allows us to see its Greek cross shape whose cover is based on a central nave, two side naves and a dome that was designed with the intention that it was seen from any point of the city of Caracas, Venezuela. The structure was built in reinforced concrete and walls raised in brick, clad with travertine marble.
